Srs, I have to ring up for an appointment and am lucky to get one within 2 weeks of me ringing them whilst the majority of larger people that I know have an automatic check-up every 3-4 months.

It sneaks up on you. Nobody plans to be fat and, despite what these whales say, nobody WANTS to be fat. You just develop bad habits instead of good ones and BAM! You wake up one morning and you're like "Wow, holy sh-t...I'm fat." The difference is how do you respond? Me and the other fatties who've found our way here decided "We're going to fix this, we're going to do something and make it right." The fatties preaching "fat acceptance" "health at any size" and other such bullsh-t have simply chosen denial as their coping mechanism. One day, they will face reality one way or another: they'll either realize that they control their own destiny and they can stop blaming society and get to work to solve the problem, OR the health problems they deny having will catch up with them and they will lose limbs to diabetes, or need heart bypass surgery, or they will die...in any case, their denial will end.
