I suppose I'd put my monk to on in it. There's only a handful of us and we can't raid so I'd probably keep my main in Doljon for now.

A few good guilds I know of are damaged goods, shadows, blackheart pirates, maybe some others that don't require a 46+ char. DG was my last guild, cool bunch of people and no real rules.

I'll check that one out next time I log in. I'll probably be done with all my real life stuff in a few weeks, and I plan to play

had some sh*t luck all week. Still stuck at 35 and found a group in MM once this week. Spent most of the week farming up enough for Jboots. Find a guy who is selling and the bad luck continues. Takes him like 2 hours to get the rapier. Someone killed the gnome like 5-10 minutes before he got the rapier so we are waiting another hour or hour and a half for him to spawn. All drakes and then the fukking Monk spawns.

That's okay m8, this game clearly isn't for you. Nobody is playing p99 for the graphics, it's for the nostalgia of EQ from 1999-2000 era when we originally played, and the game is still just as good as it was back then. It's not for casual play though, definitely a grind.

That's okay m8, this game clearly isn't for you. Nobody is playing p99 for the graphics, it's for the nostalgia of EQ from 1999-2000 era when we originally played, and the game is still just as good as it was back then. It's not for casual play though, definitely a grind.

COM pops off, ALWAYS people there from what it seems like. No way I can solo there at 39, but a group should be easy enough to find!

halfway through 24, gonna spend a few more levels at pond, then go to highkeep. Both those places can be tough to get groups but I get home early enough that I usually don't have to wait more then an hour.

Nice man, you able to twink up your monk a bit? I have a friend who was playing a monk, got to 24 and ended up rerolling druid and is now up to 15ish, said it was too hard to level untwinked because he could never find groups

Pond is pretty sweet, especially if you can find it open and start your own group there and set it up the way you want it! My playtime in the week is really limited to 2ish hours each day, hopefully you can catch up to me! Monk/Sham is a great duo

yeah i can twink him with some time. I had enough for FBSS but chose to get Jboots on my Wizard. He's got pretty standard early gear. Full set of Wu's, a Quivering Staff, and the 2 HP rings. If I spent a month or two of just straight porting he could have some real nice gear.

Awesome, it's amazing how much of a difference FBSS makes on a monk, worn haste is sooooo good

I hit 50 in CoM today. Gotta see when I should start my epic. I'd like to get easier parts out of the way, the planes items I need are long ass spawns.

i felt the opposite way. first 30 minutes or hour was kind of like why am i playing this again. But then i got a few levels and got into an orc hill group and it was just like being there when I first played. yes its old and archaic but that core gameplay of grouping and interacting with other players is still fun as hell to me.

Guaranteed there's tons of zones u never spent time in, that's how it is with anyone. Kerra isle, kedge, howling stones, whatever. Makes old content a little newer. That and make a class u never played.

I still enjoy the game so much I am a regular content contributor and developer on several emulator projects. It's not for everyone, but for most of us it's still one of the most true games to the genre.

35 was pure hell for me but finally hit 36 on Wednesday. Yesterday breezed through most of 36 at Castle Entrance in Mistmoore. May just solo the rest of the level in SK tonight and play some FIFA during downtime. 35 seems like a tough transition level because you become too high for a lot of places to get good exp, and are still kind of low for places like Dreadlands, Sol B, Lower Guk, CoM, etc. CE and CY in MM is like a shining beacon of light in the dark hell of mid 30s leveling.

Barely played last week until Sunday. Got lucky, a bard was power leveling a friend of his and asked me if I wanted to join (he needed someone to AoE nuke them). The guys friend passed out after only 3 pulls but it took me from the end of 40 to dinging 42. Can't get a group for sh*t again so been slowly doing yetis in DL, I can kill 2 before having to med again.

project 2002 officially launched last night. It's a server starting from scratch that will eventually get to PoP. Its classic right now with a few things being different. I believe I read that you can be a beastlord, the vah shir and iksar are available as races, and PoK is open I believe. Only certain zones of those content like the starting cities of shar vahl and cabilis are open, nothing else. It sounds a little tempting as I loved Planes of Power, but I've already sunk a ton of time into P99 and you can box up to 3 characters which makes me think the community will be pretty non existent.

It is a pretty brutal run, but honestly you don't ever have to leave Kunark. especially 1-20 where you can just do FoB to Kurns.

Joined a progression server a year or so back with some friends and pushed to max lvl. Managed to raid and get my epic but got burnt out quick with the spawn camping. Just not the same as it was in the early 2000's.

I think the biggest issue they are cracking down on is real money transactions. KS'ing happens but havent seen it done deliberately, mostly comes from dumb azz bards who dont know hot to kite.

I've been burnt out as well. Just been real busy and don't even feel like playing when I log on, not to mention at 42 I can only go to like 2 spots where people actually group. Just been logging on to port for a little. gonna try and save for bard PL.

Hit 45 over the weekend. Yesterday was a fail, lucky to even gained 5% of the level. tried to quad some yetis but it's not the easiest in that terrain and almost died, was lucky to get gate off. no luck with CoM grps. then some guy I've grouped with twice asked me if I could help him kill some of those apes in Timorous Deep for a drop he needed. Said yes and tried to get there with no clue where anything is in TD, ended up at the raptor islands. mother of god those things have the craziest aggro range, aggrod like 8 of them and died before i could cast gate. Luckily a necro logged on and was able to pay him for an EE rez. Those Hulking Golra's actually aint bad at 45, think they would give a % per kill or close to it, only problem is the named Halara can span multiple times.
