It's pretty fukin important.
Having fuel left in the tank at the end of training is a bad thing. Very, VERY bad thing.

While lean bulking, I give it my 100% and only take 45-60s breaks in between, try my absolute best to add either another rep or more weight next session. While cutting, I give about 90%, save the rest for HIIT/Cardio/LISS and try to maintain strength more than anything.

For me it's weird cuz I get more and more energy when I train. Once when I was young and stupid and didn't know the importance of recovery I trained for about 3 days in a row. I went very hard but I never felt tired or fatigued. But the 4th day I was so badly overtrained I could not even hold my body upright. Was almost bedbound for a week and a half to recover. Complete body shut down lol.
So Edgy crew

If anyone wants an explanation in layman's terms how about this:
Imagine sitting at rest. You're obviously not going to grow there.
Now imagine lifting a DB. Your arm obviously won't grow optimally just doing that.
Now imagine curling that DB 10 times. Some stimulation occurs but again, you're probably short changing yourself by not doing MORE.
Now imagine curling a heavier DB for 10 reps, 4 times.
And so on and so forth.
Basically... VOLUME + Stupidly heavy weight = reaching your absolute highest potential for size.
Now imagine being disciplined enough to do this, for an entire year. And then another. And another. And so forth
By the time you know it, you'll be 5 years deep.
And then once you're in by a decade, you're basically as far as 99% of bodybuilders who ever hit their peak. That is to say, a consistent decade.
If you can make this second nature, then you've basically found the key.

Everyone, literally EVERYONE who looks like anything to write home about trains like this. And if you trained with them, you'd probably wish you'd never set foot in a gym MOST LIKELY.
I have NEVER trained with anyone who looked impressive that did not impress me with their insane work ethic in the gym.

Never trained hard a day in my Life OP
Just a few pickup games of basketball and a couple orders of Churches Chicken
Explain that chit.To the ego, the present moment hardly exists. Only past and future are considered important. This total reversal of the truth accounts for the fact that in the ego mode the mind is so dysfunctional. It is always concerned with keeping the past alive, because without it - who are you?

True OP. Can't believe people don't get this. Arnold, (admittedly later on in life being on gear) incorporated this pretty much his entire career. I actually believe he used gear to cut instead of bulk. It's easier to bulk than it is to cut IMO.
I've been doing heavy sets of volume training for a few years now, can confirm it packs on muscle quicker than "Do 2-3 sets of 8-12 reps every time"
I just lol when I hear someone say that.IG: humpsfofree

Volume with as short rest periods as possible and stupidly heavy weight, quite literally feels like torture when done correctly. And I can 100% vouch for its effectiveness. Both in myself, and others I have seen who train this way. Even people I don't know.
If your workout does not feel extremely uncomfortable, there is something seriously wrong. And the problem is, people can train this poorly for years without realising this is where they're going wrong. Your body will not change at all if you don't give it a reason. This is where most peoples' frustrations stem from.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you should hurt yourself training. But, some people make excuses and create so many limitations for themselves so shamelessly in the weight room, you begin to wonder why they are even there in the 1st place.
