    Refeed for fat bastards?

    Hi all.

So me and my friend have started training now for 14 days again after a year of studying to get into the university. During this time, we both gained a lot of weight, I'm sitting at about 25% body fat and he about 30%.

We lift weights about 45-60 minutes and do a little cardio (10-12 minutes cross-trainer as a warmup) 5 times a week. We are still reasonable fit although fat, so the volume seems to be of no issue.

The diet are going very well and we are on a 20% deficit on workout days and eat a little bit less on rest days and we are already seeing results.

Now. Would it be beneficial to have a reefed every 7 or 14 days for us to reach our goal of getting to about 10% body fat as fast as possible from a physiological standpoint, not a psychological, and if so by how much?

Given the moderate deficit and assuming macros are meeting minimums, not really no; maybe after a prolonged cut but so soon would not be needed.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
    1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

    This ^^^

    Planning refeeds is really unneccessary.
Continue to diet according to your current plan until weight loss stalls for >2 weeks.

At that point, consider a structured refeed.
