Pretty impressed by Smog City Cuddlebug.
Probably the most peach-forward beer I've ever had, even beyond the De Gardes. I fukkin love peaches maaane!!
The gf tried it and said it was sour as fuk, but it didn't taste sour to me at all. I'm used to bracing, super acidic sourness... but this had a very soft, subtle tart that just kinda rounded out the intense peach-bomb.

Great stuff.

Janky, have you heard of this place called Growler Station in North Bend? A coworker of mine raves about it. I've looked periodically at their site and they do have some interesting stuff on tap. Apparently, Old Rasputin is always available for a growler fill. I would go, but it's just North Bend is way out there and deal with 405 and I-90 traffic.

Heard good things, yeah! I'm with you though, it's pretty far. I have family out there, but we rarely ever visit, so I've never checked it out personally.

I'm spoiled. I'm a rock-throw away from Pint Defiance, and a bike ride from E9.
Speaking of -- E9 just did a huge bottle release today, and so did Holy Mountain. You should definitely check them out!

Fremont's blowing up... but I promise you, Holy Mountain and E9 are up next.
(plus Fremont's attempts at 'sours' have blown so far... the other two are basically running the sour game in WA right now)

Last of the three (and a few after that), but it was shining when we opened it - more body, creamier mouth feel, smoother bourbon notes, more chocolate and less dark fruit than regular BCBS.

Old beer is old. It was in barrels almost 2 years and bottled 5 years ago. Way past its prime. I had Vanilla (2010) back to back, and Rare fell really short compared to that liquid brownie a la mode Nilla.

couldnt resist. have been really wanting to try the home sour home.


its somewhat disappointing. Still good but somewhat lacking in the flavors i was hoping for. would be great if they doubled the peach/cinnamon/vanilla. ill prolly trade away the second bottle

Supermassive is outstanding, as is Encorselled. Home Sour Home sounds amaze; got a bottle. Hope waff is a jaded mofo like me in a sense.

Solid Ohio trip today except for fat heads. Everything we had was garbage: Trail Head, Head Hunter, and Sunshine Daydream. They had a saison aged in maple bourbon barrels that kicked not too long before we got there. Was gonna murder, but then we said fuk it, ate a big huge german pretzel, and went back to willoughby.

Popped up to Denver today to see my brother and renew my membership at TRVE as well as pick up my last member bottles for this year, ended up swing by by favorite bottle shop on the way home and saw Crooked Stave was the featured brewery this month so everything was on sale... and couldn't resist the Lag stuff and latest Colorado Barrel Collective release
