MBCP is more like a regular coffee porter with hints of bacon/smokiness and smells of maple. I wouldn't pay $15 a bottle because I'm not a big coffee beer guy, and I haven't gotten into trading. I went with some friends who aren't as beer crazy so we stayed for about an hour- hour and a half. Tried 5 or 6 beers. The MBCP, Randy's Old Fashioned Brown, 7th Sun Intergalatic IPA, More Moro Blood Orange IPA, and Dread Pirate Roberts Imperial Stouts. Rice Crispy Treat Blonde Ale and Apple Brandy barrel Aged Quad were tapped out. Glad that More Moro is gonna a seasonal 4 pack, thought it was really good. Didn't try Last Snow either since it should be coming in 4 packs soon. I know Salty Balls Porter got tapped pretty early too. Was a fun event. the Tap Room and the west side of the street were packed like crazy.

yeah I hear ya, my choice was go with some friends for an hour or two, or go by myself all day getting drunk and worrying about getting home. At the last minute I looked into booking a room at the Weston which is like 2 miles form the brewery. Funky Buddha had a discount rate but it was still $180.

When I was in Tampa I was super excited to check out CCB, it fell far flat of what I was expecting. The list of beers on tap was weak and its got a very small inside space. They are definitely focused more on their production for distribution these days from what a friend told me. they've been so hyped up that it's impossible to get their rare releases and I can only imagine they are gonna continue to jack up the prices. I really hope Funky Buddha doesn't follow their lead but they probably will.

My friend went once and they happend to have a ton of sours, berliners, and goses on and said it was awesome. I didn't believe him; still don't.

I heard there were 1000 people or so in line around 11. I'm gonna get there around 2, don't think there will be bottles left. FB was anticipating a ton of people, they should of limited MCBP to 2 bottles a person. People gonna be salty that there may not even be bottles if you got there after the event started lol.

A guy I know said he got there at 3, walked in with no problem, stood in line for 30min to grab bottles and left. Overall a great experience he said.

I was about 2 minutes away from going; a tiny airport by me has this ghay airline that flies to FLL and a few other cities for $30 at the lowest and a nonstop flight to FLL was $43 and it left at 230am. I was like, sweet, get there by like 5am, fuk off, eat some bfast, get in line.

The problem was the return trip later that night was $210 and the return trip today was like $110. I felt like that wasn't really worth it.

My friend's gf was at CCB last night. She told us what was on tap and nothing sounded good except this tequilla barrel aged 'ale' with lime peel and cumin. We're like ya, get a crowler of that. Sounds weird.

twenty one american dollars. Me and the friend were like 'are you fukking kidding? 21 bones for a 32oz canned beer that's on tap AT THE BREWERY?' That then prompted us repeatedly chanting 'fuk cigar city'. All of Cycle's crowlers are $7, except on Mondays, then they're $5.

The wait on line for MBCP was not too bad, moved well. Line for a burger which was maybe 20ft long took 45 min

Only one gose, 2 sour and couple berliner....mainly wheat, ipa, porter or imperials. Plenty of bottle shares their but in one small corner full of huna, bourbon county and other rares making beer nerds wet their pants. Then i was talking to a guy who got into the snifter club but talks about his love of shock top....

When i go back next year i don't plan on driving so i can drink more, huge tap list and wish i tried more.

I'm also a tad hungover from what turned out to be an insane bottle share last night, prolly about 75% of what we drank made it to Untappd, the rest I just said fuk it. DId finish the night with Upland Kiwi Lambic - it was good, but nowhere near what we were hoping for, way too acidic, felt my enamel melting away with each sip.

Well, bleurbon berry was a few months prior with a 9am release on a Saturday morning that NO ONE knew about until 5 or 6am that day.

I have a TH/Pizza Boy guy, but I think the box I just sent him got stolen or lost? Says on fedex it was left on the porch, but he says he never got it.
