Wife’s work has it at 2oz pours for anyone wanting to try it without buying an entire bottle. I think they’re charging $35 for it. They went through almost 6 bottles already.

On a separate note, I haven’t been drinking much dark beer but got recommended hazels nuts from odd side and it was awesome.

Bought a bottle of Old J tiki fire spiced rum last week and had a few glasses with coke and ice over the weekend. 75.5% proof and it really kicks your arse but it’s a really nice drink for something so strong

Seconded - found myself at the Hazel's Nuts release party at the Oddside taproom in Grand Haven when I took a weekend trip with my wife. Was delicious.

Finally got my hands on this. Seems malty af, more than I like. Nice piney touch to it though, that I like.

I haven't had a Hop JuJu since Beajis sent me a package many moons ago. Good stuff from what I recall.

How are this year's Big Bad Baptist variants? My local shop just got a bunch in but I haven't been impressed with the last few years'.

Edit: Ended up getting the chocolate and the vanilla hazelnut, hope they're good.

Vanilla hazelnut was pretty good. I wish it had more hazelnut but it’s still a solid choice.

They pulled out of Texas. But I think I heard Avery Mephistopheles is making a return this year. Probably limited release. No word on Czar.

If Orlando, Half Barrel or Ellipsis

If Tampa, Angry Chair, Cycle, Late Start or King State

If S. Fl then Civil Society, 3 Sons, JWakefield or Tripping Animals

All of these breweries make some great beers regardless of style.

I heard New Belgium got bought out.
Not really surprised and I'm kind of shocked it took this long.

I read that as well. Same with New Belgium. I only have a Kirin if, I'm eating sushi.

New Belgium has a location in Asheville we visit when we go there. Nice place, very family friendly with an open park outside, food trucks etc. They do some decent barrel aging locally, mostly sours which we enjoy. The rest of their beers are okay at best.

Long time no talk bois, glad to see everyone on untappd once in awhile-I got lazy and stopped checkin chit in. Love the New Anthem check-ins, I got lucky since my in-laws live in Wilmington and get to visit there several times a year.

This year's Sierra Celebration is good.
It's been malty the last couple of years.

Grabbed a few bottles of the 19’ Bourbon County plus 2 variants, Cafe and Mon Cheri. I was hoping at least one more, maybe the Rye would hit NC but nope.

Grabbed some of the Guinness Bulleit Stock ale as well.
