Civil Society in Jupiter, FL just canned their first beers: Pulp and Fresh. Got myself 2 four packs of each. They are making some great hop forward beers, definitely the best in South FL.

Killed PDX. Went to virtually every brewery worthadamn and some not. Best was of course Great Notion and the surprise was Rev Nat's Cider. Srs, Bootylicious was amaze but it's non-BA version (tepache I think it's called) is awesome too.

Not even kidding, I have a batch of cider that's been aging a while. I just gave it a pineapple/coconut treatment and I'm shocked at how good it is

Rev Nat's is definitely onto something making their cider taste like not-apples.

The Civil Society Pulp and Fresh were great. Awesome mouth feel for an IPA, lots of tropical flavors. Also got a crowler of a beer they call Emerald Showers. Has Vic Secret and Topaz hops, crazy good. Unfortunately they done goofed with their first canning run (people also saying their crowlers are getting fukked up) and had oxidation on random cans. Things turned dark brown real quick and carbonation was off. Most of my cans were good but I started crushing them when people first started saying something was wrong.

Funky Buddha French Toast out on the 21st, everyone who tried this batch at the 3rd Anniversary event said it was bomb, bottles better deliver.

Forgot to mention, while at Ex Novo in PDX, they had EH Taylor Seasoned Wood. Got to try it. Damn tasty but not sure it's THAT much better than any other bottom basement EH Taylors.

I like me some Stone (so sucks to hear some of the new stuff is crap). But we do have Bellwoods up here in Toronto - havent had a bad beer from them yet.
