What these guys are saying.
If I can put on mass at 6'9" being severely ectomorphic, then so can you. Start tracking your calories. Figure out where maintenance is. Figure out where you need to go past.
Mass gainers are actually a whole lot more efficient in terms of dollar per calorie. Check out Serious Mass by Optimum Nutrition. I gained about 7 lbs in one week when I first got on it.
You can gain, you just have to be willing to eat enough.

Had the same problem, used to take my own weight gaining shakes 3x a day, 2 servings of oldfashioned quick oats, 2 tbsp pb, 1 serving greek yogurt, 2 scoops of whey or mass gainer whatever I had , 8 oz milk, creatine, depends what you put in it but itd come out to 1-2k calories easy plus Id eat alot throughout the day try to keep your protein and carbs high eating "whatever" usually means eating fast food which overall comes out to higher fats than anything. Which fats are good but they wont add muscle mass, up your protein and carbs and see if that helps as well

mass gainers are actually as a matter of literal fact, arnt even close to the most efficient in price per calorie. 46 dollars for 16 servings lmao. youre better off buying maltodextrin and whey concentrate.
youre even better off blending your own shakes with whole milk/protein, oatmeal, pb, fruit ect.
majority of all people buying weight gainers do it cause theyre lazy and refuse to eat enough calorie dense food.

I bet if you count calories that you're eating fuk all OP, if you're waking up with a stomach ache it just means you're eating too close to bed time. Either that or we need to get you studied because you're that one person in the universe whose body defies the laws of physics.

Let me ask you this. How many calories do you eat a day? Let me guess you just "eat alot" or "eat till your full". Do yourself a favor and buy yourself a food scale and go download a calorie counter app. Track your calories and and adjust accordingly. You will be surprised how much or how little you actually eat.

Something similar happened to me, I bulked for 3 months now at a 300-400 calorie surplus, I was looking bigger, my arms were measureably bigger, my delts were bigger, chest was slightly thicker and my abs were less visible meaning I had also gained some fat. But when I stepped on the scale after 3 months I had apparently only gained 2.5 pounds. And it stayed the same over the next ten days.
wtf?
