I find it funny how people talk about the amount of violence towards black people from police officers, but if you actually look at the statistics most of the violence directed towards black people is from other black people. To go out and kill 2 innocent police officers over the actions of a few bad apples is wrong. It only perpetuates the stereotype that black people are thugs, which leads to more poor and misguided decisions from police officers. Lets work on change, not battling ignorance with more ignorance.

As someone who can say I totally lost all respect for the NYPD after the eric garner incident, i still mourn for the loss of these two officers as they are also human and did not deserve to have their lives lost. Neither did garner.

As for the shooter, he obviously suffered mental illness. We do need to have better control of mental illness patients and take care of this system better.

Two, refusing to sign is an offense lmao. By signing a ticket it's not an admission of guilt but you promise to appear at your set court date.
