A little about me. Played Football, Basketball, Baseball and Track in HS. Landed a FullRide to Div. in Track. ran 100 and 200. Set all my HS Records and a State record in the 200. Many years later I set out to set another State Record. Powerlifting. In 2013 I set 4 State Records in the APA. My Squat Record was broken end of last year. So now I'm coming back to hopefully get it back. I need to add 50lbs to my Squat PR to match him..

Thanks, It feels great to get back into the swing of things. Plan is to get at least 1 APA meet here locally by the end of the year. I have a long ways to go to get back to where I was at, but's everyday is building up momentum.
Had a Few gifts show up to day. Have to give the shot outs to BUFFBAKES, CORE NUTRITIONALS AND EVL SPORTS.
EVL's ENGN showed up just before I was heading out the door to the gym. Perfect timing. I ordered the Green Apple. I've had some Nasty Green Apple flavored powders, but I love Green Apple so I gave it a shot... EVL nailed the Flavor. Almost to the point of tasting like a Jolly Rancher. I was worried about it tasting so good that they focused on it more then the effects. Took 1 heaping scoop since it was my first time trying it. Took a few extra mins to kick in then some, but when it did WOW... It literally made my Nads get BA tinges. Won't lie... Kinda liked it..
Had a solid Back Width workout. Best one in weeks.

2nd Workout of the Day...
Just something to keep the Heart Rate up for a while..

60sec Tall Box jumps
10 Pull Ups (Real Ones)
25 Hanging Leg Raises
22min on Treadmill 15% at 4mph

Pre-Workout again from EVL Sports ENGN just 1 scoop.
Now today was a Day I really enjoyed.. SQUAT DAY...
All I did was warm up and Squats... Nothing else.. Nothing else really matters in life.. Happy Squat, Happy Life.. or something like that..
Goal was today to just add some semi heavy weight and do sets of 2 reps. Wrapped and Belted. I wanted my body to get used to feeling that weight. odd thing was. Once I warmed up My last set was more reps and the easiest.
I used a 3yr old pair or Iron Rebel Gear Wraps. So nothing crazy..

Had to bust out a super fast Shoulder Day, No Cardio done... Wife had 2 Volleyball Games and the boy had a baseball game... Doctors won't let my wife drive till Sept. So I have to drive everywhere all the time.
Pre-Workout
KILL IT from 5% Nutrition - First thought of taking it...Tasted and had a texture just like Pro-Mera's Beta-Cret. Only took 1 scoop. It has a Proprietary Blend so I'm not sure how much of stuff is actually in it. Workout was good, felt strong.. But it was just a shoulder blast..30min in and out..Overall I think it maybe a little weak, but I'm not sure yet. I didn't get any BA tingles which doesn't mean anything. Just means it's not overdosed on BA, which is good. Going to try 1 scoop for the next few workouts and see how it holds up.

Went home slammed a Protein Shake 1/2... And tried 5% Nutrition REAL FOOD.. Say what you will about the owner of 5%, but the REAL FOOD was good. Looked like Freeze dried Sweet Potatoes and Oatmeal. 20g of Carbs per Serving. I mixed just enough water in it to make a paste/mashed potato thickness to it. Popped it in the Microwave for a few seconds to heat it up... Was pretty good. It's made from food.. It's legit...
The 5% Crew sent me everything..

Deadlift Night.... Started off kind of rushed, but ended up having plenty of time. Worked a little on Conv. and Sumo. Worked up to 365lbs and man you would have thought I was trying to lift 600lbs. Damn it... First try at 365lb I psyched myself out... Went for it again and pulled it once. I know it's just my body getting used to pulling heavier again. Over then next few weeks. I'll get back over 400lb I think no problem... Oh and it was a No Carb Day. Didn't plan that out every well.

Tried a little extra kick to my pre-workout today.
Used EVL Sports PWO with 1 scoop of L-Citrulline from Kaged Muscle. Pumps where best I have had in a while. Going to try 2 scoops next and see if I see an increase or just a waste. I did feel like 1 scoop added to EVL did help.
I'm done another pound tonight. Weight was 176lbs. AB's are poking out a bit more and veins are starting to POP...
Calories intake is a bit low, but Protein has been staying high while cycling Carbs daily and focused around work outs. I will cont. on this path till I'm below 10% BF then slowly bring back Calories. Since I'm still gaining strength based on muscle memory and recovering fine. I plan on sticking to this plan.

Pre-Workout of the Day was PhramaFREAK's SUPER FREAK Sf #FREAKMODE
all around pleased with it. Sometimes it's hard to feel a good pump in your legs at time. No Problem today, but I did a lot of Volume thou. I'll try this on shoulders and Arm day this week too.
I normally don't bother with Natural Test Boosters, but I got my hands on one that seemed pretty good on paper. So I'm giving it a shot. I'm 3 doses in. So we will see how I feel. I normally only use something like this after a PH cycle for a boost. It's not your Tribulus BS Booster. It has some interesting ingredients.

Today was a GREAT DAY... I have been sleeping so good lately and recovering fast. For this past few weeks. I have been taking in roughly 2k in Calories. Give or take 200. Been doing a Carb Cycling diet. But not to high of Carbs. I get bloated on anything over 250g and it sticks around for days. High Day 150g, Med 75-100g and a Near Zero Day.. Stay under 15g... Been doing about 2-3 Near Zero Carb days a Week.
On my High Carb Day. I take in Carbs at breakfast and Post-workout.. On Med Carb Days.. Carbs only Post-Workout out.
With taking a year pretty much off. I let myself go. But just a few weeks of training and watching what I eat. I have been bouncing back fast and it feels great. Here soon I'll post a Before and current shot. But not yet...

Ok going to start a Log here and try to keep it updated a few times a week.
Log will be for Magnum Nutraceuticals product called THRUST. It's a Test Booster, but not your normal Tribulus Crap. It has a few ingredients that caught my eye. So I'm giving it a go.

Only about a week in so far. My strength has been coming back fast. So I can't say if this is part of it, but we will see how the next couple of weeks go. The biggest difference I have seen from taking this is my SLEEP. I have been Sleeping good. best sleep I have had in months.
Last week I hit 365 on Dealifts just once and it was a Grinder...
This week I hit 2 @ 375lbs + Green Bands.
The last few days I have been filling more Full and looking more swole. Decpite all the no Carb days.

Ok Squat day. Last week I did a higher Volume set up. So this week I wanted to put some weight on my back and start creeping up to big boy weights again.
Again I'm not the best at Diets.. I once again Have been at a Mod Carbs for the last few days. The last 24hrs I haven't had any Carbs. and the last 72hrs has been kept under 100g daily. Despite that I'm still gaining strength so I'm not changing anything for now.
Sleeping was jacked up the last 2 days due to working OT. Got 3hrs last night and a 2hr nap before the Gym tonight. Low carbs, little Sleep and still gaining.....
This is the first attempt with anything over 400lbs in maybe a year. 405 was bit of a Grinder, but I hit depth and got it. So I'm not far off from getting back into my PR Range.

Bench Day...
Weight 180lbs
Overall not a Bad workout. Started out rough.. Took a while to warm up. Once warmed up felt pretty good. Had issues staying tight during bench and couldn't find my grove today. Worked up to a semi easy 250lbs x 2. failed at 275lbs. I'll try 275 again in two weeks.

Weight 178lbs
Late start to the day, wife wasn't feeling good. So I went to the gym by myself. Felt pretty good. Last Deadlift session was doubles and singles. So this time I went no lower then sets of 5. Worked on Hook grip, but it just doesn't feel right... For one.. It doesn't hurt and it doesn't feel secure.

So I missed the Gym yesterday. Was suppose to be Arms yesterday and Squats today. So I skipped Arms and hit Squats today. My son as a Soccer Tournament all day tomorrow and I have to go back to work. On top of that my wife will be in the Hospital for 3 days of testing starting Monday. So This coming week will be touch and go on Gym time. I'll make it work thou.

Thanks guys...
Well I wasn't for sure if I was going to make it to the gym tonight or not. Wife has been in the Hospital Since Monday for Seizures. Had to stay with her for a 72hr Test. Not many of you guys knew this, but back in March she had a seizure after being sick for 3 months. Luckily she hasn't has another one and is on Meds. They seem to be working. She has even made it to the gym a few times. She's a Trooper..

Not a bad all around day. Spent the evening swimming with the kids and throwing them around. After that ate 1.25lbs of Beef...lol, About the time I hit the Gym I was just not all there. Lucky I was the only one their and I had no distractions and I could stay on course easy.

Ok this is my 58th Day Back after a short Break turned into a Year off and Crappy eating...
Me back on May 29th 2015.. Sad and way out of Shape
Me has of tonight... My body weight stayed about the same. As of this week I'm upping my Calories and Carbs a bit now. To slowly get back to 190lbs range. Not sure what my BF is now. I measured it 3 times with Calipers and it kept saying 10% But I'm not sure if I believe I'm that low.
And some Shirtless Ninja Pull ups for Fun...

Squats and only Squats..
Took me a while to warm up.. Left should blade as an odd pain that creeps into my neck a bit when I move just right. Almost feels like a Bone bruise or pinched nerve.. Hard to explain.
Everything felt heavier today..I narrowed my stance up some and felt stronger, but it was pretty narrow.

Here is my stuff from LiftingLarge.com
I've got a lot of Knee Wraps, but you can't have to many..:rockon:
But I wanted to see how a more affordable, lower costing pair would perform. I landed these..Parallel Breakers at $26 they are worth a shot. See how the compare to ones that cost x2 as much. They also volunteered to send out there new New Sleeves. They only Knee Sleeves I can compare are my Cheap ones from Vigor. Which have severed me well, but I've started using my Strength Shop ones over the Vigors. Now since I have these Savage 7mm. I can see just the way they are made. They are thicker and much Beefer feeling. I slide one on to check fit. I'm 180lbs and I got size Large. Seemed to fit. I will use them this week.
I'll have some Comparison shots later.
GREAT DAY TODAY... Did 2 workouts today.. A Mini Arm workout and then a Nice Brutal Deadlift session. Nailed a Nasty PR.. Today is my Long day (Monday for Work) So I'm up an extra 8hrs. Thats why there is an extra dose of THRUST in there..

Here is a side by side of the 2 knee sleeves I have.. The Savage ones are much better. I never had to pull them up once during my Deads last night. They feel thicker and I can actually feel the support better. But thats not much of a surprise. Considering my last knee sleeves cost me like $12...lol These $12 ones.. There are a lot of Big Companies passing these off rebranded for $50+..
