I would have just been like, "Alright Joe, let me call up the U.S. Men's National Team, the Los Angles Lakers and the Chicago Bears and let them know they don't have to show up next year since they don't have a chance of being elite next year."

I'm tired of how much Joe has set himself up as an expert authority on the sport, inserting himself wherever he can until you can't escape him or his opinion. He's a glorified mma groupie and his opinion shouldn't carry as much weight as he thinks it should. And the way he ambushed Schaub and crapped on his dreams in such a public way is an arrogant dick move. He may have had good intentions but his ego was very apparent.

I agree. There was no need for that to be done live. His podcast hasn't been that good either, he barely lets his guests get a word in nowadays.

On a side-note, I'm dabbling into "the fighter and the Kid" podcast and it's actually decent. The one wit Chris D'elia was funny. It's on YouTube on that Fox UFC channel if anyone else fancies giving it a shot.

I think Brandon Schaub is a great athlete
too bad he hasn't got all the skills to compete with the top guys, and he surely can't get KOd so much further in his career. Somethign about his striking isn't up to level of other competitors and he needs to fix that - or get out. I think maybe his brain can endure 1 more KO and than he will begin to show brain damage.
