I been taking vitamins for a good year if not longer , i believe i started taking them when i was cutting as i was feeling low energy thru out the whole cutting process, i was and currently still am taking Kirklands premium mutli vitamin, b-50 and fish oil , I take one of each every day, about 2wk ago ran out of b-50 and didnt noticed any difference on "pick me up" and currently im cutting again, I think i will take a vitamin break when i start slow bulking again, as i get a lot of nutrients with the food i eat , what is your take on this subject.

I take a multivitamin. If your diet is good enough you don't need it. I sometimes skip days. Fish oil is a good one if you don't get the nutrients from food. But I haven't been taking that one. I mostly take the multi because I don't know how much I am getting from food so I play it safe. It is a personal choice. For what it is worth, I would probably taper down if you are going to stop taking them.

I've been taking Vitamin C and a mixed beta-carotene complex every day for the past ~15 years. It was originally part of Dr. Andrew Weill's "Anti-Oxidant Cocktail" ...the other half of the cocktail was Selenium and Vitamin E, which I took for 13 or 14 years until some recent studies suggested that those supplements actually increased the risk of cancer in middle-aged men!
I've also been taking Vitamin D for the past ~2 or 3 years, based on my personal physician's recommendation; I was borderline deficient, though I don't remember the exact numbers off the top of my head. At my last physical he said the 5000 IU/daily was working, had raised my levels significantly, and I could now cut back to 5000IU five days a week.

Necessary: no
Desirable: that would depend on a multitude of factors
Actually taking enough of most vitamins to do yourself any harm is fairly difficult to do, so if you feel better taking them, even if only from placebo effects, then you might as well.Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.
They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

I take a multi everyday that has a good amount of D3 in it, especially in the winter months, with good amount being subjective I guess. I take CoQ10 as well. Lastly, I take odorless garlic about every other day. Don't take much more than that.

I take a woman's multi now that I found a gummy version.
Also because I'm surrounded by snotty kids (literally) all day, I load up on Vitamin C. I take an Emergen-C pack every day and munch on chewable vitamin C tablets all day. If I feel a cold coming, I'll have an extra pack of Emergen-C.
