Not sure if bait or just delusion, but I'll bite for amusement and even deconstruct some of this:
Did you know that a lot of animals (including our closely related monkeys and gorillas) have nests, dens, or make actual MATTRESSES out of natural materials? I wonder why that is. I wonder why an animal that spends the majority of its life just trying to survive would go to so much trouble to make a nest instead of sleeping on the cold fuking ground in the middle of nowhere. Surely it's because the animal has been conned into nest making like some Beta, right? Surely no Alpha Silverback actually makes its own nest, right?
Surely it's not natural for organisms to seek pleasure and avoid pain, right? Go figure part of what makes us human is when we can shut these instincts off and do what is rational or logical, not what is instinctual. If anything, intentionally sleeping in the floor is less instinctual than sleeping in a bed, because you are knowingly, willfully hurting yourself. Now as for the logic surrounding that (which we would assume would override instinct in this situation) that would be up to the individual, but let's look at yours:
Pillow tops are the ultimate betas who play into the hands of expensive mattress companies. Pillow tops actually flatten out in the parts of the mattress you sleep on most, and exacerbate sagging because the stuffing gets flattened and pushed around the same way as regular pillow stuffing. This ****s your back up while the bedding industry pockets your money.
Picture A would be the appropriate curvature. B, C, and D are all phucked in various ways. Sleeping on the floor is going to result in C if you sleep flat on your back. It would result in something that would resemble Scoliosis if you slept on your side, because go figure your shoulder sticks out farther than your hip when you're on the ground.
You might say to roll your shoulder forward to abate this, and you'd be right - if it weren't for the fact that this will weaken your rotator / delt from being crunched up with half your bodyweight on it all night.
Pillowtops aren't the answer - what is the answer is a mattress that supports your back in the right places so when you sleep, your back is as close to the correct "default" posture as possible so your discs can hydrate while not under compression.
Pros of sleeping on the floor
-improved circulation
-improved posture
-eliminates back pain for many people
-cooler temp.
-no space limitations
-no noisy bed frames creaking and squeaking (great during sex)
-can sleep anywhere
-easier to get out of bed
-sex without the mattress bouncing up and down with every thrust
-less tossing and turning
Cons
Advice: You do need a soft layer of some kind underneath you, whether its a yoga mat or a foam mattress topper. If you don't have carpet with underlay then you may need more, sleeping directly on top of a rock hard surface is a bit much, you will need a yoga mat or something or your hips will get too sore.
My advice is if you want to address your posture, then do it by making sure your spine is in a neutral position when you sleep. Flat backed on the floor, or even on the side on the floor, this is impossible.
Get a mattress that is right for you, and further strengthen your posture through appropriate exercise. Why Insurance Does Not Make You Safe:

Anyone with a v taper knows the first picture is bull****
I'm trying to visualizes the spine when laying on your back and it seems like your back is just bowing out to meet the ground in the same fashion as a chair but less extreme. A bed on the other hand allows your upper back and buttt to sink in, shortening the distance the spine can travel which puts your spine in a better position to off set the muscle lengthening caused by bad daily posture.Don't do it cuz i can, i do it cuz you can't
