I haven't. The only meet i did where my confidence was extremely high was my first meet and I killed it. After that for my last few meets it seemed I would burnout 2-3 weeks out. Whole reason for this post is me saying I need a good month of build up going into it but I keep ****ing it up somehow

It is literally impossible to tell his depth from that video, but I thought the 3rd looked the deepest.

I'm feeling weak as hell going into a meet on Feb 21 but I know why. I switched from three days a week to like double that the last few weeks, splitting bench from the other lifts and am paying for it by being underrecovered, mostly just to naively go to the gym more often when bored. The losing fifteen pounds since mid-December is another factor. That said, my absolute strength has still gone up and I'm looking at adding 23 points to my Wilks since November if I hit my thirds. Relying on my 12 day deload (beginning after my session today) to salvage everything and help me recover haha.

Just having quick look at some squat videos, seemed judges were a bit lax.

Whoa bro, I am now a USA Powerlifting Senior National Coach. It is a very prestigious certificate in the eyes of many great ones like Alex Kang. Here are some thoughts he had on my achievement of this new certificate.
"as Maliek said, can't have a crossfitter coaching elite powerlifters"
"how can some weak 1 year crossfit POS coach an elite equipped powerlifter with 10 years of experience, makes zero sense"
"these new coaches don't know anything about equipment or can even wrap knees decently, or even know how to roll wraps"
Enjoy the rest of your day!1372 @ 205

Thanks for the support fellas. Next time I'm definitely going to fly in order to avoid driving 18hrs, followed immediately by a hard weight cut lmao. Was definitely not good for the strongs
RUM8 was fantastic and was the best run meet I've ever been athttp://www.youtube.com/user/njvfevfw

I was surprised that the first two were white-lighted; both felt high. I had done a better job of it at points in training but was still hitting my brakes too much instead of dropping into the hole. The third was the best of the three and was probably fine. All of these look high to me too, but I've learned that the "magic angle" at least for my squats, makes a bigger difference than for most. I did a front/side video a little while ago to show the difference, though I don't have the post count to post it.
At best, my squats are borderline, and the best thing I can do is to try and do reputable meets where I'll be held to a high standard. I do think that I didn't address this enough in training and that I'm lucky it didn't bite me in the ass.512-347-622 at 148, 1482 total, former raw all-time WR holder

What's the biggest swing in strength you guys have had in 1 - 2 week period? I had a pretty nasty flu bug a couple weeks ago, came on the day after hitting a big squat PR. Today like an idiot I tried pushing things too soon and completely bombed a weight that should that I was hoping to double. Dropped 40 pounds and barely ground out one rep with a weight I can normally hit for a solid 3 - 4 reps.
Really wanted to go slit my wrists in the bathroom after wards.Best raw lifts: 670/480/675 | http://www.youtube.com/user/invain622002 | IG: NsattPL
