    Reverse barbell curls primarily targets which muscle?

    I had a argument with a couple of crossfit people about this exercise.

    oh crossfit. Just like Kirk said, it primarily works the biceps brachii and positioning of the hands (pronation) puts an emphasis on the brachioradialis & brachialis (forearm) muscles.

    Brachioradialis primarily which is the main elbow flexor when wrist is pronated. Activation of biceps is only minor due to pronation.
