People that hate Government intervention are idiots in general, some things need to be regulated or else corporations will abuse you and cause your death.
Examples/; toxic dumping in rivers, lakes, oceans, and underground of public cities, pollution, slave labor, child labor, discrimination against employees, unpaid wages, etc...
Some companies would do anything for money, and if there was no regulation what so ever, they'd eat you alive.
Of course too much regulation is bad.
I pay for 300 Mbps, I should not get slower speeds or lower capped gigs to non company websites or smaller personal websites because your ISP want to charge them extra and leech of them!Last edited by LimitBreak; 11-11-2014 at 09:57 AM.

It's not even that type of regulation. It's like saying let's privatize traffic laws and allow companies to pay extra so they can speed and drive over sidewalks for lulz. Net neutrality is literally the opposite of saying what you can and can't do with internet speeds because it's a neutral utility shared by all.

ITT: I learn that preventing monopolistic domination is to be avoided, because government
While we're at it, anti-trust laws and labor protection laws are also the government stepping in and regulating markets too, let's get rid of those because who knows what those scheming government people will do with that

The government does good things but a lot of things the government does just creates more work for everyone or makes a situation even worse. I don't think it's beyond the realm of logic to look at things with a skeptical eye rather than jumping on a bandwagon. All the neckbeards see is net neutrality and their precious internetz being saved rather than thinking about the political implications behind government intervention.

The neck beards at least base their argument in facts, science, and logic.
You sound somewhat intelligent, and if you are, then you are one voice in a sea of retards, racists, and religious fanatics who know nothing about the issue and yet have decided to take a firm stance on it based on their pathological partisanship.

I can't believe how stupid some people are. Do you think it's ok to let major businesses do whatever they want with no regulation?
You put way to much trust in big business. Guess what they don't give a fuk about you and will do anything to increase their bottom line.
And just lol that say the government shouldn't stop them from doing whatever they want.
Look at what happened when they repealed the Glass/Steagall act.
Cliffs of glass/steagall
Banks unregulated
8 years of bank CEOs making millions
Economy collapses
Look it up
Glass/Steagall
Gramm/leach/bliley
Dodd/frankThere is no they…
