someone explain to me why msu loses 4+ spots when they've only lost one game ( and one conference game ), the same as bama. MSU lost to a top 5 team, not sure why they'd be any lower than 5.

So do I. MSU still has 2 conference games and Bama has one. I can understand if BAMA stays ahead of MSU at #3 this week, but I do expect MSU to come back on top. I think if State wins vs Vanderbilt and Egg Bowl then they'll be top 4.

I honestly believe that MSU just played a chit game last night as opposed to BAMA playing a good game. Not knocking BAMA, i thought it was a very entertaining game but state just made way too many mistakes. They relied far too heavily on Dak running the ball and Robinson ran like a potato all night. Lewis and Wilson dropping catches blew my mind and the D line couldn't get to Sims for chit ( Though I must admit, I am impressed by Sims ability to move around the pocket ). Dak throwing interceptions left and right and not being able to force any turnovers was pivotal. Respect to Bama but I sincerely believe MSU could've won that game if they brought their A-game. We will see at the sugar bowl for Part 2.
