    USP Labs DAA3k, Yok3d, Modern BCAA+ - 1 Month Log

    Huge shoutout to borobulker and Classic34 for letting me log a few USP Labs products for a month.

    What I was given:

    2 bottles of DAA3k

    1 tub of Modern BCAA+

    1 bottle of Yok3d

    A shaker cup

    Multiple Jack3d and AminoLift samples



    DAA3k: A natural testosterone supplement containing 3000 mg of D-Aspartic Acid in a serving size of 4 capsules taken once daily with food

    Modern BCAA+: In Fruit Punch flavor, Modern BCAA+ contains a BCAA blend of 8:1:1 Micronized L-Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine along with other amino acids. Each serving size is 2 scoops. I will be taking these BCAAs during my training

    Yok3d: Made to increase pump and vascularity during exercise, Yok3d is made with Micronized L-Citrulline, Vitis Vinifera L. (Vitaceae) (Whole Grape) Extract, Pinus Pinaster (Bark) Extract and Vitamin C. Each serving is 4 capsules - ideally taken 20-30 minutes before training.

    About me: Currently 24 years old and in school to get a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. I've been lifting on and off since high school. I've always ended up lifting for a few months and then stopping - and losing all my progress. This past March I decided to change that. I've been lifting 4+ days a week since then and have made a lot of progress.

    I am 6'1'' and weigh 228 pounds. I've been bulking since August at a caloric surplus of +500-700 cals/day.

    I have class until 1pm every day, and I usually lift around 2pm. My workout split is push/pull/legs.

    Push: chest, shoulders, triceps
    Pull: back, biceps
    Legs: legs + deadlift

    Current maxes: Bench - 280, Squat - 315, Deadlift - 375

    My goals for my max are to hit a 315 bench, 350 squat, and 450 deadlift.

    Woohoo! I'm really excited to see how this goes for you. I like your training split. Simple and effective. I think too many people try to get way too fancy with their training. Can you give us a quick breakdown of your diet besides just that you're taking in a surplus? Carb based diet, or something else? By the way props to you for keeping it all together between school and training. I know that feel of never getting a minute to just sit haha.

    I'm trying to stick to a 40/40/20 diet as much as possible... (protein/carb/fat). Yeah, my training splits in the past have been full body every other day, and last year I did 1 body part each day of the week. Mon-chest, Tues-legs, Wed-arms, Thurs-back, Fri-shoulders... but I didn't like only working out each body part once a week. I think the push/pull/legs combo is best for me because I can hit each part twice a week and still have a good amount of recovery

    Initial thoughts on the BCAAs... Definite fruit punch flavor. I was surprised by the lack of coloring to the BCAA powder/color of the liquid when it's mixed. 2 scoops (1 serving) tastes like a red gatorade.. really good fruit punch flavor

    Yok3d.. I'm carrying a bit of body fat right now, so I'm not that vascular, but I could tell a difference on triceps and biceps. My arms felt so much more pumped than they normally did. I'm gonna have to pick up another bottle for spring after my cut, I'm betting it'll make a huge difference. Glad I got Yok3d though, there's nothing like feeling swole while you're in the gym!

    DAA3K... I'm feeling an increase in energy after the first 3-4 days of taking it. Definitely have more intensity in the gym too. I've been able to get a couple more reps past some of my past maxes... I'm gonna slowly work up and wait to max out for a couple weeks, but I think I'll be able to smash my old records

    As far as the Yok3d and DAA3K are concerned.. the 4 pill serving size is kinda large due to the size of the pills, but if you take 1 at a time they aren't bad to get down

    Sipping on some BCAAs while in class today. Loving the fruit punch flavor... It really is like drinking a Gatorade minus all the sugar. I think adding BCAAs to my workouts/during fasted times has helped significantly in my recovery - Especially when I drink them during workout

    Exams last week kept me from lifting for a few days, but I took that as an excuse to get well-recovered before hitting it hard again in the gym.

    On my off days, I don't take Yok3d, but have still been taking DAA3k.

    I hit the gym on Saturday to do heavy legs again with my lifting partner. I did a 5/3/1+ routine based on http://www.strstd.com/

    Squat:
    135 warmup for 10

    295 x 3 (PR for 295 weight). Am guessing my 1RM is above 315 now, but will wait until the end of the first bottle of DAA3k before trying

    275 x 6 I felt really good deadlifting on Saturday. I think the few days of rest has helped me increase the weight. I've had some trouble with grip strength in the past, but since I've been incorporating DLs more, grip strength is steadily increasing as well

    135 for 3 sets of 8.... I went really slowly and focused on contraction

    Awesome to hear that you're seeing increasing results regarding energy in the gym. You mentioned that you feel more powerful. Would you say that any advances in strength you've made thus far are greater than you would have expected without the stack, namely DAA 3K? Looking forward to seeing you finish this out strong!

    Been out of town and on mobile for the past few days due to the holidays... I am now well fed and well rested. I continued supplementation and worked out on Wednesday (full body work before the break), then worked out again yesterday (December 2nd) and tested my maxes.

    I also have finished the BCAAs and the bottle of Yok3d and DAA3k. Still have one bottle of DAA3k left over to run when I get back from winter break. I'll review these all shortly and link the reviews up in this log

    My weight was 233 yesterday morning. Solid gain of 5 pounds during the month of November. Overall from the beginning of the month I feel stronger and like I did put on some solid mass.

    I was able to max at 285 Barbell bench, 330 squat, but my deadlift remained the same. I blame deadlift on not doing it as frequently as I used to and also having a weak grip. I attempted 385 deadlift but couldn't get it past my knees. I think with some grip training exercises, I'd be able to pull it.

    I focused a lot on bench this past month, and saw the most improvement with that. Not only on 1RM, but also on my 3RM and 5RM.

    After bulking since August and having August-October bulk with just protein + preworkout and having November with DAA3k, Yok3d, and added BCAA supplementation, I do feel like my strength gains were diminishing before November's supplementation schedule.

    After the month of DAA3k, I do feel more 'lively' (so to speak) in the gym and even outside of it. I think my testosterone levels were aided with DAA3k and that it definitely helped me to reach new PRs
