This is a 3D Printed T-Rex Showerhead I printed and have been using since May. I did not design it, I merely printed it. Gizmodo put out a story and I was pretty stoked to see my exact showerhead as one of the pics in the article:

And will probably print out a few more before the year is over. I’m going to be giving some away, but for now let’s start with one. I’ll use a random number generator to generate the winner based on post number. I will then PM you for shipping info, I will pay for shipping, don’t worry brahs. Also, please I’m sending this out at a cost deficit to myself, if it breaks, not the color you wanted, etc, etc. I’m sorry but seriously just throw it away and call it a day. I’ll pick and announce winrar Thanksgiving Day.

i work in the 3d printing industry now, I don't do CAD, but one of the most common issues I see in the industry are models with mesh errors. be it duplicate triangles, holes, overlapping, boolean etc. it happens lolOriginally Posted by Noname95

What's your opinion on makerbot vs form labs products? I know ones filament and the other is laser extrusion but overall, what's your opinion in general?

formlabs looks cool tbh, I work with consumer grade FDM/FFF printers such as makerbot, so no first hand experience with SLA/DLP. Their 2/2X line was above decent, but pretty expensive. They tried hard to be hte apple of consumer 3d printing, which I think they succeeded in doing. Their newest line (5th gen) is complete and utter ****Originally Posted by StrtdFrmTheBttm
