COD is such a chit game compared to BF, the zombies mode is sick though. I will only ever buy a COD game again if it has zombies, last one a got was black ops 2.

Only ever buying another CoD game if it is modelled on WW1 or WW2. Basically everything else will be chit anyway, there will never be another game like the original MW.

They've just been Map Packs since cod4 pretty much, just more ridiculous kill streaks every time and 1 good map out of the 10-15 that get released

So long as people keep buying/playing/wanting FPS games CoD and BF will keep going strong.
I had absolutely no desire to buy the new one, but my brother went ahead and got it. Now I don't know if it's just because I'm losing interest in gaming (less than 2 months after buying an XB1, lol FML) or if it's just not that great, but I find it...not that great. It's not bad to play, Exo survival with friends is pretty fun, but otherwise I feel it's nothing special.
That said, though, younger kids and/or people who are still really into gaming might be blown away by it. Personally I preferred CoD 2 and MW 1+2, after that they were all pretty 'meh' at best.
