    anyone here refeeds based on how the feel

    And by feel I mean a combination of feeling fatigue, unmotivated, irritable, lethargic, moody, depress, ect.

    thats the general story of long cuts you could do refeed , but you are already forcing your body into something it doesnt want to do , so that wont feel very good regardless of you need refeed or not

    Not my experience. But then again I don't cut too fast, I eat enough carbs and fat and don't restrict myself from foods I want to eat.

    I have not undergo any cut yet but IMO, if you refeed based on how you feel, i think there will be a higher chance your mind is telling you need a refeed when in fact you dont. You will start making excuses or lies so that you can have a refeed. Just my 2cents.

    Not my experience. But then again I don't cut too fast, I eat enough carbs and fat and don't restrict myself from foods I want to eat.

    Weight: 136lbs

    Goal. Been as lean as possible. (for my weight class)

    Pro 180-200g/fat 50-60g/carb 100-200g generally (depending on given day odd times shoot over 200g)

    Lost about 13 pounds since aug. Being on high protein diet, helped leaned me out, curb cravings and control hunger. Didnt feel the need to cheat.

    Though I eventually (after 12 weeks) found that recovery was slow and I was feeling fatigue and unmotivated.

    How lean are you now?

    Im cutting at 2800, if i feel weak i will eat about 2900-3000 to get energy up. My tdee is around 3250-3300.

    Eric Helms recommends 1 high calorie day per week (at maintenance) to avoid negative feelings.

    You could also take a diet break; just eat one or more days at maintenance.

    I should have updated my bodyspace. My bodyfat at the moment 8-10%.

    Thats a good way to look at it. Would carbs be a good choice to up it at maintenance?

    If you just want to do a higher calorie day, you can fill it in as you prefer.

    50 grams fat is on the low side for a 144 pound guy. I wouldn't be surprised if you feel better at higher intakes.

    How do you feel on high carb meals?
