So ViperGQ (former miscer) recently did a physique show and got second place:
Here he is next to other top physique competitors Jason Poston and Matt Christianer....looks on point
And this is the feedback he got:
Physique logic not even once...brb marking an amateur down for being TOO pro ready

Such a joke. First time I competed back last March they told me I was too wide for an amateur show. Oh sorry let me narrow down a bit, go pro, and then get wide as hell again.

Nothing per se.
I post as I do on here, some love it, others hate it.
One night they just permaed me, those ****bois didn't even have the decency to cross out my name and put banned under my user title. Completely out of the blue too, no real "trolling" to speak of near the time I got banned.
Oh well, it makes sense that MD is a ghost town now considering they banned all the good/interesting posters and they're lazier than ever when it comes to video production and show coverage.

I got a few 2nd place finishes at the NPC level where I was told the same type of thing ("you are too much for the amateur level"). I was even told at one show that my shorts were too low and that was the reason behind my 2nd place finish. When I got to the North Americans, I fit right in with the rest. It's very frustrating, but it proves you don't have to win 1st at NPC events to do well nationally.

Pls not my reps! They're all i have left in this cold cruel world
I'm all for physique division. I just wish it has set standards that the judges judges judged accordingly. Then again, no division does anymore so whatever.
Edit: it's like a hypothetical ronnie coleman showing up at a npc bodybuilding comp and the judges giving him third because he's not what the judges want in the lower ranksMS, Computer Science

same trend with every division with the exception of bodybuilding, obviously.
Nicole Wilkins and DLB wouldn't even place at a National Level show in their respective divisions because they would be "too big and lean" but would probably do well in the women's bodybuilding category.
...just one of the MANY reasons this "sport", organization, and judges have next to zero credibility and if one chooses to compete, that one needs to realize placings mean absolutely nothing worth while....imnoting
