Average genetics means the isn't THE GENETIC ELITE but just average genetics. Compare him to likes of Heath, Greene or Rhoden and you'll see that I mean.

I define average as not the elite ones which have a chance at winning big shows and be very successful on bodybuilding stage. I also define most of bodybuilders as average as I know even if they hopped on the perfect gear and training habits they wouldn't even come close to be Mr Olympia or whatever.
What takes it to be in the genetic elite: structure, bone density, muscles attachments, muscle bellies, response to anabolics, certain conditions concerning health, etc.
In terms of being an average human being (muscle mass), Michael is of course IN ELITE. In terms of bodybuilding standards he IS AVERAGE as he doesn't posses the genetics to be an elite.
