Wondering if anybody has had any luck building an elevated platform for your power rack. I have to put this outdoors and although it will be covered, I'll need it elevated off the ground a bit since it will not be on cement. I'll be leveling an area to install the platform but I want to be sure Its sturdy enough. It doesn't need to be more than a few inches off of the ground.
I'd greatly appreciate any recommendations. Thank you.

Yeah that looks great, unfortunately I don't have the materials for that. I'm going with all wood. I think I'll end up building something very similar but with wood instead of the steel. I may have to put it up on some short feet on it since its going on the ground. I think it'll be easier to get things level with feet rather than one large 8'x8' surface.

If you are going all wood I would still build something similar as above with 2x4s or something that would bring the base plywood off the dirt. Legs would have to be really strong as it will be supporting about 200+ pounds of platform, your weight and whatever you are lifting.
