What if a Christian dies and is met by Zeus? Burn in hell?
You should live a moral life and be a nice person, but leave religion alone. If God is loving and kind, he will forgive you for not believing in him and reward you in the afterlife. If God punishes you despite having been a good person all your life then god is unjust and you shouldn’t worship him.CHICAGO CREW!

I was born the way I am, if I were to kill someone, it would either be because its in my nature to do so, or my environment/experiences shaped me into someone capable of such an act. God allows the circumstances in which evil is possible, he could just make it so evil is impossible but he doesnt. Why?

Even if god exists, it doesn't mean anyone will actually face him.
What if reincarnation is real and our souls keep coming back and we don't have to face god?
What if god is just the creator and there is no afterlife?
Why would they face him if god is just going to send them to hell for being skeptical about his existence and requiring proof to believe?
And if you are deemed to hell for being skeptical about the existence of god, isn't god the one who created you with the ability to be a skeptic anyway? So he's basically punishing you for using what he gave you.
I have come to accept that I have no idea what is real in terms of creation, if god exists, etc.. I think the bible is B.S., but can accept that a god MAY exist. If God is the type to send me to hell for being able to accept that I have no flippin' clue, then he's not the type I'm tryna spend eternity with.Last edited by jross2021; 10-20-2014 at 10:59 AM.

This. If God really casts you out for not believing even if you lived a good life then I don't think he deserves our worship anyway.
What about people who grew up in North America before Christians settled here? They never heard the "Word of God" but as far as I understand Christian doctrine that doesn't excuse them from the rules. And then what about someone who is raised and completely surrounded by Hindus (for example). How the heck can they fairly be expected to trust some Christian missionary over every respected and loved person in their life?++ Positive crew ++

OP what if it turns out that any of the other 1000's of gods that humanity has invented are the real god, rather than your Christian (a relatively newer religion) god. Really you're in no better position than us, since you have such a small chance of being accurate
Secondly if you've been a good person, and god really did care about/love humanity, I don't see why he'd punish you for not believing, since he never made his existence apparent
Finally, I'd prob ask him why he took such measures to conceal himself, ask him if I actually had a chance with some of the sloots I was too pussy to make a move on, & ask if he lifts
