    Ohp is best for full body of you use variations of it, you feel alpha doing it and everyone in your gym is probably a bunch of bishes to scared coz they believe they will injure **** doing it.

    try switching up your rep scheme, go for something like 1-3 reps, then do a backoff set with light weight

    did a single with 180 at 185 last week, always did them rather heavy

    Because you can be phukking massive and still struggle with 135.

    Also, it is the GOAT for shoulder mass, imo, and it even hits your traps a bit as well.

    To people thinking about starting this: do not do too much weight, do not allow your form to break down too much. It is very easy to hurt yourself doing standing ohp, srs.

    I like it, my shoulders got better doing it. However I'm much stronger at OHP compared to my bench press which is poverty, for some reason.

    Have only seen a few guys OHP more than 135 at my gym for reps.

    Most I've ever attempted was 205, failed with no bounce, but repped it out with some help from my knees.

    I like it, my shoulders got better doing it. However I'm much stronger at OHP compared to my bench press which is poverty, for some reason.
    guy i use to train with was the same and found that his close grip bench was much stronger than his regular grip

    seems odd that you can be stronger in the press than bench, did you train for this?

    I'll admit I've been stalling hard on them lol.

    Elbows feel painful when doing them due to over extension at the bottom (inner tendon) plus my back gets all hyperextended (fuk).

    I never relaised standing OHP was a big deal, I just always did it because it looks alpha as hell.

    What is considered impressive? I rep 70kg which now I've typed it doesn't seem like a lot but I'll try increasing it.
