first time squatting in a couple weeks. Accidentally did 4x3 instead of 3x4. Also, my adductors are destroyed after these sets for some reason. Will probably have some intense DOMS tomorrow.

Been mentally preparing for 100kg x5 the whole week. Today came, I knew I needed some will power to grind through this. Got my music, got hyped up etc etc. Managed 4 reps, then when I did the fifth some random dude came and """"helped""" me. reeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I was fuming for like 10 seconds, but managed to chill. I realize most people at the gym don't really understand why you would want to grind out a rep, and are scared that you will get decapitated if you fail, but when you've hyped this set up for a week and set up pins so you can fail and not die it really sucks when someone takes that last rep away from you. I think I would have managed to grind it out, the bar never really stopped before he helped me. I know he's just trying to help but it's irritating as phuck. Some people are real goofs. Rested 10 min and tried again but failed the fifth fair and square, I think I used up my stregnth and my adrenaline on the first set. Will try 100kg x5 again next bench session.
Then again I did actually set a rep max, never done 100kg for 4 let alone 2x4. Still really disappointed with how benching went today.

Yeah that's the oddest thing. Regular 3x8-12 types just don't understand why you would film a set. My friend who was filming even told him to get out the way even though he laughed.
We even have a good bench rack so I literally don't need a spot, I just lose my arch and the bar is on the safeties. Plus I had like 3-4 mates watching so if anything they should be the ones to run up and lift the weight if needed(which it isn't).lack of strength log:

supposed to do 34kg for 3x2 next chin session, which I think will be quite tough. Gonna try to get that weight, then probably start loading +1kg per session, and then once that gets too tough I'll dust off my microplates and keep the progression going.lack of strength log:

Warmed up on the bench and wasn't feeling fully recovered, but to my surprise I managed 100kg for 5. Next bench session I will do 95kg for 5x5 or so and then I'll move on to some heavy triples.

quick workout today
Squat

Deadlift
130kg 3x3
first time repping deadlifts at a significant weight for like... a year. Been doing McGill's big 3 for a week or so to try and rehab, we will see how this works. I did some weird kind of semi-sumo which actually felt pretty good which is nice. Haven't seen many people lifting like this so maybe it's **** but whatever. Filmed my last 2 sets. Hopefully I won't tweak my back in the next few days and I can continue doing some deadlifting and maybe not be injured anymore.

did the 130kg with 60s rest. Kind of tough actually but I think I just need to get the groove in. 150kg was very tough, had some form breakdown on the second rep.
