Oil field 1920 Dodge car -
So you went out and spent $40k - 60k on a new 4-wheel drive truck and put big off-road tyres on it so you could get to work out in the oilfields. You could have bought a 1920's era Dodge!
As this video demonstrates, our roads have come a long way in 94 years. One must wonder if many of our 4 wheel drive and ATV's could do as well as this old Dodge sedan did.

I remember reading about some work done by scientists who attempted to work out how flocks of birds in flight and schools of fish manage to form and maintain such complex structures and patterns. The indication so far is that there is no underlying command system but that each individual animal makes independent decisions based on maximising its position relative to what its nearest neighbours are doing, and it is only by standing back and viewing the whole that it appears there is some network (well there is I suppose but none of the animals are aware that they are contributing to it, only that it makes sense to react the way they do to what is happening around them.)Last edited by Lou1se; 11-09-2016 at 10:45 PM.

I think at one point he said, "Fk me dead!" I like that, and I'm going to use it. I can't say I've heard Russell Crowe's version before. It may be commonly used by East Coast Aussies. btw Crowe's a Kiwi (New Zealander) who grew up in Australia. Fk me dead is commonly used to express surprise..frustration..but judging the poor bugger's predicament, he probably wished he was cactus (dead) lol My go to phrase is - Fk me drunk!
