This should be common sense, but this forum is the only place on the internet or in real life where alex smith is somehow regarded as a better niners QB than kaeperGOAT
Where u brahs at? u mad kaep raped alex smith in the anus? Typical alex smith game, play mediocre/decent the entire game then throw a pick at the end to solidify the loss

I don't have an opinion on your 49's issue. What i do know is all these little college running QBs wont last in the pros. when you weigh 200lbs running a 4.4 forty and you have a def. end weighing 270 to 290 running a 4.4 forty. Getting your A** laid out gets old quick. How many have came and how many have lasted? The tebow's, jordan jefferson's, and the vince youngs, find out the hard way

First season watching football lol.. You obviously don't know about me.
I'll tell you what watching Kaep throw all those interceptions against CHI sure was impressive. Especially when a Niner wasn't within 15 yards of being in 3 of them.
Gore/Defense is the only reason Niners are any kind of relevant are you sure you didn't just start watching football this season?

The way Kap and Alex began their careers cannot even begin to be compared. One was drafted by one of the worst teams in the history of the NFL (if we would've lost the Bush Bowl, we would've had 2 number one overall picks in a row) and went through like 6 offensive coordinators in 6 seasons while one got to learn for a year while the team went 13-3 (the best record they've had under Harbaugh... weird right?). One had targets like Antonio Bryant, Darrell Jackson, Arnaz Battle, Ashley Lelie early in his career while the other has had Michael Crabtree, Vernon Davis, and Anquan Boldin for the entirety of his career as a starter.
Compare their stats in the last 3.5 years. Even with Kap's "overwhelming" athletic ability over Alex, they put up almost identical numbers under Harbaugh.

Lmao at you in this thread.
1. Your QB is Tony Romo.
2. You laugh off the notion that you don't watch football yet follow that up by a straight up BS statement saying Kap threw his 3 picks with no niner within 15 yards.
First pick was a crazy dive play by Conte where if he's a split second off Boldin who was right behind him has a TD.
Second pick Fuller was pretty much on Crabtree's back and fought to take the ball away.
Third pick was the worst one and it was a pick because there were two niners in the area.
Stop posting. Srs it's embarrassing watching someone try so hard to sound like they know what they're talking about and yet fail as hard as Tony Romo holding for a FG.

As for the topic...this thread is retarded.
Alex and Kap didn't fight in a cage, they didn't play vs the same defense with the same players and coaching.
Alex was beat by the 49ers defense. He did some things very well and some things not so much...just like Colin Kaepernick.
Sports misc is what it is. People here like to base all their points off the last game and for the most part overreact and don't know how to look further than the boxscores/highlights.
It's painfully obvious to anyone who watches the 49ers how difficult things are for the offense when the running game isn't going full force. It's no different now than it was when Alex Smith was there.
I remember having to defend Alex on here left and right due to the offense they ran and the players they had when the cool thing to do for sports misc was to trash him.
Now he goes to a QB friendly team with coaches who know how to draw up a scheme to help their players and he does well despite facing a weak schedule. Funny thing is their numbers aren't that far apart. The way everyone on here talks about both players now you'd think it was a Peyton vs Eli situation. Kap is somehow this potato who does nothing but run the ball and throw picks while Alex has a 100% accuracy rating and never turns the ball over.
Anyone actually watch the game yesterday? How many tough throws did Alex have to make? How many throws did he have to make to guys who were covered? How about Kap?
The few times Kap had a clean pocket and open guys he hit them for big plays. Is he perfect? Of course not. No QB is. Even the greats have bad games.
manning went 3 consecutive games a few years ago throwing at least 3 picks. He's doing ok now.
Kap is in his 4th season in the league. Alex Smith is like in his 10th. He should have a better mental grasp on the game but I guess everyone forgets how bad he looked early in his career?
Sports misc logic. Gotta love it.
