It was available before Goldbely even started to carry Ample Hills. I'm not sure why they don't carry it.

I had it. It was...okay. Base definitely has the ale flavor. There's a salty caramel swirl like LNS had which is pretty great, and the mix-ins are brownies which were...oddly crunchy in my pint. Made me wonder if they were using a different supplier or something.

Same with mine. I found it at Target. Not worth it. In othet news finally grabbed Publix Apple Pie. Way better than anticipated. Not a huge apple fan but this is an A

Local brand, just up in Hanford, CA- Kind of pricey at $5 a pint, B&J/Talenti/HD price, but wanted to try something new...

Pretty solid, only had 3 real pistachio offerings now, B&J/Talenti, and now this. Very good base, dense and holds up well, creamy and feels of quality. Decent amount of mix ins (B&J has more though, and Talenti far less); shards/pieces in every bite and every so often a whole pistachio- if this had more mixins it may be my #1 of this flavor but as it stands, B.

I'm ashamed to say that this constituted my lunch today. Oh my god, it was heaven. As good as sex even. There are few sweets I like. Caramel is one of my favorites. I'd choose death by caramel if I had to die today. Just give me a 10 kilo block of salted caramel and I'll eat it all.

We should start a pool to fund this, I would definitely be in... how much could 10 kilos of caramel cost...

If we're talking about real crafted caramel. If it's Bequet, it'll be around 500 plus shipping. If it's Williams Sonoma sauce, we're looking at $330ish. I think the candy shops over at SLO can make enough. Bu they charge like $18 a pound.

Is caramel vegan? We could use Erik as a Guinea pig. I'd think my jaw would hurt from all the chewing.

Found mine at Kroger. Only one of the Kroger locations in my area seems to have it so far so I'm thinking it's just now creeping onto freezer shelves.

So, Salt & Straw just posted their October flavor lists. There are some really fun/off the wall things going on this month, but of course this one caught my eye:

"Throwing all caution to the wind, this ice cream is both childish in ideation and execution. We told ourselves, “screw it, let’s make our own version of our favorite candies in this world… just better. MORE delicious. MORE shock-alatey. LESS processed. LESS waxy.” Using REAL ingredients, we made our own “nougat caramel peanut bars” (wink wink), “chocolate malt balls,” “toffee chocolate bars,” and “peanut butter cups.” From there, we piled these homemade candies into a butterscotch ice cream in such mass it would make both Ben AND Jerry cringe. Shut up, this one is delicious."

I don't think I'm going to be able to wait very long before I review this one.
