    Straight up I've just started giving up on Ben and Jerry's. The last 5 pints I've have were really inconsistent, even with historically good flavors/mixins. The last 5 new ones I've tried (3 cores) were all mediocre at best (save That's my Jam! core which was surprisingly fantastic).

    He's austalian, so I think that they got it later than the US. If it is indeed from feb 2014, yeah, you're probably out of luck.

    Tried Steves blackout cake. I think im done with Steves for now. Had 3 flavors, all of them were underwhelming and seemed like bum pints. Sunday morning had no waffles, this pint had no cake pieces, and the mexican chili chocolate had few chocolate pieces. For the price there are so many other options i'd rather have.

    Having Coolhaus Caramia Lehrer tonight. Really excited for it. Looks so good.

    While the pints I have had lately haven't let me down, pretty much all their new releases have been pretty uninteresting- too much trying to appeal to the masses I think.

    I thought the PB core was pretty ok. Good enough for me to rescoop. They have so many flavors that are easly worth buying. Yes - the cores have been so-so, and so have some of the limited edition flavors, but PB half baked and PB sundae are pretty good.

    And then theres still the classics such as cinnamon buns, chubby hubby, C7LB as well as chocolate therapy(one of the best chocolate-chocolate).

    Is GF SSC worth piking up? Tried every flavor I have available except for that one. Loved DCSSC.

    Edit: have yet to scoop 7-11 SSC. Would that be a better choice?

    OK Review time -

    @Erick - Ha yeah its an old flavour I see in the US it was released ages ago, but I think we still get new stock of this as it only just came in at local scoop shop.

    I am a huge butterscotch fan, and before I do go on, does anyone know of a butterscotch type protein powder? I am dying to try one..

    OK back to the pint, reading the label it made for some drools, and as I popped the lid I saw a very impressive butterscotch swirl, and when scooping this each and everytime the swirl was really well balanced and spreads all through the pint.

    Has anyone had this flavour? What do you think? I really enjoyed it, the intensity of the base/swirl is great. Highlights of this pint are;

    1. Very smooth base ice cream
    2. The massive amounts of swirl - literally a huge glob of goodness

    I've been eyeing this flavour at the shop for sometime, and noticed there is also a Creme Bruleé Ben and jerry I wonder how they stack up?

    I am giving this one 8/10.

    Matt
    - If you can't explain it simply, then you don't understand it well enough.

    Has anyone had this flavour? What do you think? I really enjoyed it, the intensity of the base/swirl is great. Highlights of this pint are;

    Actually rally liked it myself, but definitely a 'when in the mood' flavor IMO. Also a huge butterscotch fan myself.

    For good butterscotch protein though, I had great luck using a regular vanilla and adding in sugar free/fat free butterscotch pudding mix- works very well and you can add more or less to play with the intensity.

    That sounds killer. yet us aussies dont have that damn sugar free pudding mix also whats a good vanilla, we dont really stock any good protein maybe syntha 6 for a vanilla? I've got a few cellucor protein tubs but not in vanilla, maybe pick up a BPI Whey Vanilla soon??

    For adding flavors I have found Dymatize to work well due to the very mild flavor it has, so additions work well.

    Cellucor is great for a straight Vanilla, Trutein for Vanilla Bean type, BPI is always a solid choice have yet to have their vanilla).

    Steve's is pretty solid all around, if not quite impressive, given that it is a non-dairy option.

    Have you tried Beverly vanilla? Very good. Better than Rocky Road in my opinion.

    OxyElite Vanilla Ice Cream was the best vanilla I've had though.
