Coolhaus dirty Mint B. Base was not the best mint ive had. Not a huge fan of the mini chips and could not distinguish the brown sugar component. I love mint chip but this isnt it. Prob B- C range

Local walmart had Save the Swirled so picked up 2....because of excitement of anything new and sounded good. I like it it but not fond of the mix ins. They don't add much. They are hard pieces that don't add much, in my opinion, to the flavor experience. If it were me I would add a graham cracker swirl like used in cheesecake ice creams and make the mix ins a real fudge like product not a hard candy like it is now.
I do like the change up with a raspberry ice cream and the raspberry swirl is nice. The marshmallow is also good. Just knocking the mix in pieces. My wife likes the flavor pretty well.

I got home from college about a week ago and unfortunately Mom's ice cream buying habits are still the same, she typically just buys what's on sale lol. And usually she goes for low fat stuff too, which is nice on the calories, but usually not so nice on the quality of the actual ice cream.
So here we have Market Pantry's S'mores and Caramel Crunch.
First I had the S'mores.
The flavor of the chocolate marshmallow ice cream was good, however I didn't like the consistency and texture, it was a very soft ice cream. The chocolate chunks were very good but unfortunately there weren't enough of them. As for the graham swirl, it was good but there was almost none of it. Almost to the point where they shouldn't even mention it in the description... extremely disappointing. Definitely would not recommend.
So after trying that, I went to the Caramel Crunch next, hoping for a better experience. Though, I was noticing the same themes with this flavor as well. The caramel ice cream was good in flavor, but had a light consistency just like the S'mores. Not impressed. And I didn't think it was possible, but the mix ins were even more scarce in this flavor. They were good, just scarce. Also very disappointing.
I'm guessing this is just a common theme with the Market Pantry brand. From now I'm telling Mom no more Market Pantry ice cream lolandrewschutt.com - Physical and Mental Fitness

Cinema Snack from Market Pantry is worth a second pickup.
This week that passed I finished some pints that I had left in my meat freezer: B&J Pumpkin Cheesecake was piss, What a Cluster was good but I had it as B&J top 3 and that is no longer so, Wegmans S'Mores was also good but it's cheaper quality ice cream than B&J, and finally for Graeter's Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip this was my second & last time having it.
Negative Nancy crew checking in.

New Orleans Ice Cream Co. Cafe Au Lait & Beignets
http://theicecreaminformant.freeforu...-lait-beignets
Overall this is a winner. New Orleans Ice Cream Company did a fantastic job on putting together quality ingredients to provide a tasty coffee dessert. What is coffee without a bit of sweetness and milk? To the typical american that is unheard of! New Orleans decided to toss in the scaled milk to enhance a mild coffee cold brewed base. For those who like medium or blonde roast coffee beverages this will be right up your alley. New Orleans complimented the coffee base with a beignet donut dessert cut up and spread throughout the pint. The sweetness and softness provided by the dessert on top of a delicious thick, hard, and glazed swirl rounded this pint off. New Orleans Ice Cream Co. did a great job and there is a reason why people rave over this flavor.

Article claims B&J as best vanilla base.
The test included Ben & Jerry's Vanilla, Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla, Breyers Natural Vanilla, Edy’s Grand Vanilla, Friendly’s Vanilla, Häagen-Dazs Vanilla, Turkey Hill Vanilla Bean and Wells Blue Bunny All Natural Vanilla.

the NO >> Sam's choice by a long shot
Jeni's Black Cat Coffee based Ice Cream uses real beans in its base my #1 base choice
Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz from B&J i would rank behind it
then a Tiramisu from HD or Talenti
Basically --->
Jenis for a base or NO If you want the inclusion of the Swirl + Mix-ins
Then B&J, Sams, HD, Talenti

Thanks. Too bad there's no NO around me. I've been wanting to try Jeni's Black Cat but I think Jeni's pints are still not available.
My favorite coffee ice cream that I tried would definitely be HD tiramisu. I've had Sam's but that was so long ago that I can't quite remember it so I can't rank that.
Brewed to Matter was alright for me. The thing that lacked was the brownie swirl. I would have preferred if they put actual brownies in it.
