Is keto diet + glycogen supercompensation appropiate for 18-19yo?
Title. I have been thinking of doing cycles of 7 days of keto followed by a 30 hour glycogen supercompensation period. I heard it is a good way to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time.
Why complicate things? Lift heavy weights, go standard keto, after 2 or 3 weeks if you really feel the need have a cheat meal once a week, ie Saturday night or whatever.
In another thread I posted an article about low carb diets being ideal for body recomp (build muscle and lose fat).

Should be fine for a 18 y/o. Make sure you do your research and get your macros as perfected as you can to optimize your gains. good luck
