I want to say my abs came from sports. soccer bowling, tennis, biking and running, the whole time i was losing. I hated doing abs, I think i've done them more in the last 2 years than the last 4 years previous combined.

Muzzie: in 2009 I had got so cardio conditioned going from 330 to 230. I was doing level 15 at 7 mph on elliptical for 1 hour straight. when i got small enough to run comfortably, It got to where from October to January i was doing 10 mile runs every tuesday and thurday. I stopped running long ago, but every once in a while. i would get out and run. I wanted to see LA while visiting one year and randomly did an 8.5 mile run before i had to go to the airport. When I was dating a triathelte i'd do runs with her and go 8-10 miles. It used to drive her mad how i could randomly just run it without no training and months between runs. That's how my heart rate got so low. that and tennis in 2-3 hour blocks at a time. I remember i used to have to stop every 15-20 min for a breather when i was in my extra chunky with cheese state. these days we stop becuase we're hungry or ran out of water hours ago and got dehydrated. lol

Bones of lead. Maybe it's just her body holding lead and she needs to do a detox.

Nice renovation work, was the kitchen full reno or did you just change the fronts and kitchen top ?

Maybe it's just the lighting/angle but the bottom cupboards don't look like they line up perfectly

Her information is skewed but she's just starting and sometimes, some of us, need to be handled with kid gloves.

Nice renovations....want to do my kitchen?

Cheesecake factory last night....had something off of their skinnylicious menu but cals aren't listed...had to dig online for info. Didn't do bad.

Need to do my kitchen at some point, but just can't decide if I want to change the build, change fronts or just spray paint the old fronts. And if I want laminate, wood or granite top.

So many choices and so hard to decide.

Not that it's very old or worn down or anything, but it's the only room I haven't redecorated yet so it doesn't fully fit in with the style of the rest of the house. Might just settle for new flooring and skirting/baseboard or whatever it's called

Thanks buddy. The kitchen was full except the walls weren't replaced, just fixed. The flooring was pulled up and we dropped in a new foundation. I actually had our guys prime the walls at one point and when I saw then they looked good but not as smooth as I wanted for the amount of money we spent on the cabinets, counter top and appliances that arrive Tuesday so I did a complete skim coat the kitchen walls and ceiling. You've right about the cabinets, they weren't aligned so I had them do that yesterday morning. Great eye you got there. That picture was 3 days ago. Since then the rest of the walls were painted and the back splash was grouted.

I remember the pictures of your current kitchen, it's very nice right now as is. Those counter tops we put in are Quartz. First time we go with that choice and the client loves it.

Them carpenter eyes, friends hate it because you never see the "full picture" you instantly zoom in on the flaws/mistakes, and being me I love to point em out.

Yea the kitchen is alright, but it's starting to get worn down (top of doors etc. starting to lose paint/crack) and some slight discoloration is happening because of the awesome Ikea quality (previous owners got the kitchen).
Counter top is pretty worn out as well since Rita loves to use knives on em... it's not like we have 6 cutting boards in the cupboard or anything....

But mostly it's just the counter top, flooring and skirting that needs changing for now.

I'm always baffled when people ask me "Can I cut things on that counter top?". I'm ask the, "Why would you do that? You know they make cutting boards right?" I'm the same way you are with the eye. I know the workers get frustrated with me because I'm very OCD and I don't reign it in with things like this and my father's way too relaxed. I'm sure they can't wait till I go back to work.
Ikea stuff looks good at first but it's just a pain after some time goes by. Those cabinets I had custom made

My mom has some of their bookshelves about 10 yrs now. They are fine. Their bedroom furniture leaves a little to be desired.

When it comes to stuff like shelves or book cases that's fine imo. It's when we start talking about beds, sofas and bigger things like that I am not a fan of.

    Sup guys.

MrM: Great job on the renovatins. I repped you in the post before for coming back, but let's just say it's for both.

Znik y Roberto: Thanks for the kind words, yo.

Muzzie: I like being active. I like cardio things with a purpose. Like I'll walk to a location before I drive if it's close enough and I have the time, But I love me sports.

I was like that for a long time, and then I realized it's a waste of time getting everything just perfect. Most people don't notice the minor flaws and it's just a matter of getting it "good enough" instead of wasting time (and money) getting it perfect.

I hate cardio, I don't mind going hiking, doing LISS etc. but I absolutely loathe high intensity cardio. My body and brain ain't made for that crap.

^^ What he said. Ikea is fine for all that storage/hardly use stuff, but bathroom (especially wooden or metal stuff) is crap, sofas is crap, beds are usually crap and kitchen is crap, they got nice solutions n stuff but the paintwork leaves much to be desired as it wears down over time. Stains too easily and paint wears down/off way to fast.

When it comes to that other stuff it's way better to pay 2 or 3x the price for high quality stuff that lasts a lifetime instead of constantly replacing cheap stuff with more cheap stuff as it gets broken.

interesting. i'll check it out, Dann!

for squeaky wood floors i'm going to try that hack of working baby powder into the cracks. wish me luck.

Kristen, i've been tracking points the last 4 days. last week i felt so out of control... i'm recovering quickly now that i'm back at my place (plans changed, i'm in NE for one more week), but i thought i'd re-anchor myself by tracking. it's been a looong time since i've tracked that many days in a row, lol. i have all my old logs, though. proof that i've been motivated enough to track for months and months at various points in my life. it's definitely been a few years since i've tracked religiously... a few months ago i was motivated enough to record my mental notes on my dietary excesses and anything that i did to try to cancel them out in a spreadsheet, but i didn't track cals or points. that lasted about 18 days.

after i'd tracked for two days i found my lifetime card so i stopped by my old location to re-activate it and pick up the latest welcome literature. we'll see if i make it through today and tomorrow.

sunday at aunty's place - 56 points. my daily allowance is 26. (lol)
monday at my place - i went over by 4
    yesterday - nailed it
today - i have 7.25 pts left for the remainder of the day

the above doesn't factor in any earned activity points or the weekly allowance of 49.
    start where you are
