Curious to know how many of the OV35 crowd can

touch their head to their knees.

I ask because my BIL and I were talking last night and he was stating how young I appeared (not muscle/body wise that is a given, but my skin, no wrinkles etc etc) and then he asked me if I do any stretching.

I said not really but I can easily touch my head against my knees. He was rather shocked and asked me to do it, which I did. My BIL is only 42 and could not put his head to his knees let alone touch his toes. He said old age has tighten him up

I am not sure if it is gene related or what, but I can still run, jump, bend, stretch, climb like if I was 18. For some reason I am just not getting old, I have said this before I don't know if it is because I have been training since I was young or is it BECUASE of my young genes that I can continue doing this without any issues.

What ever it is, I just thank God for blessing me like this and continue doing me.

I just tried it nope, perhaps if I snap my spine. My head is at least 5" from my knees, legs strait when trying. I dont stretch, probably should. I can put my palms flat on the floor with strait legs.

Same here. I don't think it is an age thing, because I couldn't do that even when I was 12 years old, but my grandmother could do that in her 90's. I think flexibility is largely genetic.

Could be, but I also did a lot of Martial Arts when I was younger (never did a damn thing for me in real fight situations ) that could attribute to it.

On a side note, I can also still jump up and grab the rim on a basketball goal. That one always surprises the young bucks....

Just did it with the slightest bend in the knee. But I'm a year from officially qualifying. Looks like a slight knee bend for you as well BH? I've always been quite flexible.
