Hey All, so I was just wondering. What are people's takes on mixing protein with their coffee in the morning?
Good? Bad?

I use to make a weight gainer in the morning with instant coffee mix without any hot water. the protien shake that i made had carbs, protien, fat and most importantly caffine. it worked wonders for me!
Plus cooking whey or expoising it to heat should not be an issue considering that people bake cookies, cake, bars, muffins, pancakes out of protien powder!

I would personally opt for black coffee on its own when I felt like drinking it... and if I needed a protein shake to hit my macros, then I would also prefer to drink that on its own with milk as well.
Mixing the two is personal preference. The coffee is not going to nullify the effects of the protein.

I've been drinking 10oz coffee with 1 scoop PES snickerdoodle or HIT pumpkin spice and 1 c almond milk and both are awesome.

I have experimented with a few different flavors in Coffee, but as people have stated Vanilla has seemed to work the best. Mixing 1 scoop of Vanilla Combat Powder with around 12 ounces of coffee is not only amazing and delicious, but also gives me the energy boost I need in the mornings!!
I just got a new batch of Snickerdoodle Flavor in, will definitely have to experiement with it in coffee!!REDCON1 BIG NOISE! Log https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=175308671

I think under some circumstances it is pretty awesome
Would not ruin great coffee with adding protein but for generic/everyday beans or instant coffee go for it! I have added vanilla, mocha and chocolate proteins to instant/generic coffee to pretty solid effect I form the coffee first and allow to cool slightly before mixing in the protein.-- Microwaves everyday crew --
