    Close hand, vs diamond?

What are your opinions on close-hand pushups (less than shoulder-width) vs Diamond pushups (hands together) when it comes to working triceps?

The only difference I ever feel is the pain in my elbows and wrists while doing diamond push ups. Id stick with a little inside shoulder width and really tuck those elbows.

Diamond causes you to flare your elbows more, which causes you to strain your shoulders and elbows more and shifts some of the load to your front delts. If tricep development is your goal keep the grip close and the elbows tucked
