Been working hard, and playing hard too. Indoor rock climbing was fun as hell to do again. Some frisbee action slightly injured my knee so trying to heal that up so I don't have to go to the doctor.
Some things on tap once my knee is better: kayaking, LASER tag, trampoline park, ziplines, and NYC trip, oh yea!
Still doing pullups, upper body stuff, and I can even still do pushups, I just only use one leg on the ground, no biggie. Also trying to improve my handstand walking capabilities, fun stuff.
Hope everyone has been well.Have you done something today to take yourself to the next level?

Deer, elk, and cougars drink from mine. I don't mind, but I wish they'd poop somewhere else.

I believe that is the random part
tis true that at times the opposite gender contributes to this section
but tis also true it happens that there have been a few under 35's in the over 35's who have been allowed to stay based on their contributions to said thread
not all are evil
some are just silly
a few even amusing
knowwhatimsayin?
used to be we had a group of regular fellas that came in here
and participated with us girls on whatever topics we had going on
they were silly and sometimes flirty but always did this in the spirit of comradery
oh once in awhile we might get a little pisser miscer who came in looking for trouble
but they didnt last long
the problem now is that anytime a male shows up in here it seems he is told to buzz off or banned
and its really too bad for this section has lost its sense of humor and its atmosphere of good spirited fun

Here's a new way I found to set a new lifting PR.
Yesterday I go to the gym and there's the usual inconsiderate bozo who's using one station to deadlift and the one right next to store his junk and mill around between sets. Because he's a serious lifter, you know, he knows what he's doing and he's oh so strong, therefore better to occupy another station with his junk than leave it for the rest of the riff raff to embarrass themselves next to his awesomeness.
So while he's doing his set, I gently move his things to the side and start loading my bar. Obviously he gives me the stinky eye, how dare a woman nonetheless encroach into his sphere of awesomeness! After all, I don't need a cage to swing my pink dumbbells, right? In fact, I should be on the elliptical, or foam rolling myself, or something, not in the serious guys area.
So being the antagonistic little bitch that you all know and love, my blood pressure shot up by at least 100 points, so I loaded the bar heavier than his and proceeded to deadlift that, just for the fukk of it. Well what do you know, new PR! And a little smugness to go with it.Follow my 2018 competition prep here:

I have two lines across my forehead from laboratory goggles that haven't gone away at all in 6+ hours.
