We don’t have 5s and 4s anymore. Army medals absolutely count as points. Army achievement is worth the same as AFAM. Same with the comm. how did you manage to get screwed?

As long as you don’t put on your butter bars and act like you know way more than you actually do, you’ll be good, brah. Love our squadron’s LT, because he was prior enlisted for 8 years and came from a different career field. When he showed up, he’s like “I don’t know jack chit about this career field and I am not going to act like I do, so if you ask me questions, I will gladly reroute you to someone who can answer it for you”. Best of luck in ROTC.

Had a question about a lawful order....and how much into our personal lives can they get

“Order you to turn over your cell phone”
“You can’t pass cars anymore while driving”
“When walking on a sidewalk you must always be on the left/right side”

Can they alter reality and make lawful things or things that have no laws all of a sudden be?

I’m used to being reminded of things against the rules and complying but this area is new territory and curious what’s allowed ?

If you are asked to turn over your cell phone, state that you would like to seek legal council first.

You can be ordered not to pass on certain roads. If you are the only one being told, you're probably driving like a moron.

In uniform, there is actually a correct side to walk when walking with others.

The last one is not a lawful order. You could be asked to practice a little courtesy but it goes both ways.

The situation is:

-England bases separate entrance lanes for England driver side vehicles and Europe/US vehicles
-every day the line into base is backed up cause they are all mostly England side vehicles and I have my American car
-the road into base has no “do not pass” sign and the paint on the ground is dashed lines.....so there is nothing legally wrong with me passing
-people complained to my division NCO and she got onto me and laid down to not pass anymore


Just seemed weird that reality can be altered and things like that can be withheld from me doing even tho nothing illegal about it.....people were fukin butthurt cause they got passed and I get the fast pass to the front gate

Even security forces told me “I wouldn’t recommend it” not that it’s illegal maneuver just if you get in a collision it be my fault which is no different than any vehicle maneuver I could do if done wrong and I be at fault

This. Why you tryna pass people on base? Unless it’s a forklift or something just deal with the slow ass drivers. Besides if it’s Mildenhall there are speed limit changes along the perimeter road. If it’s Lakenheath, there is no reason to pass anyone on that tiny base.

Why would anybody want to wait in a 30 minute line into base when they can fastpass the whole line and there is nothing legally wrong against it.......like I said so far it’s just dealing with a bunch of babies whose feelings get hurt seeing somebody who just showed up to the line jump them.....it is not my fault they have an England side car and I brought my US car over

And as long as I don’t speed and can legally pass why do I have to chill behind slow people ? (For the people turning my question into on base situation)

I usually rant and rave about k9 but that career field has gone to absolute **** in the air force. Blue to green and try to get a 31kilo contract if you wanted to do it. They split the k9 guys off completely from the mp side of things. I know you didnt ask but just in case someone reads this in the future.

Turns out A1C douchewagon is her husband. Not sure if husband is on board or if this girl is lying, but pretty fuked either way.
