Forum Buddy – Browser Extension: Notifications for when you are quoted in a post!

I want to say, I never realized how much I love Forum Buddy until it stopped working. lol it's a great program, I hope it gets updated when ever the OP gets a chance.

Was just about to say it doesn't recognize that I'm not logged in and figured it was because poverty update of bb.com.

it's only working (properly) for the black skin right now

Forum Buddy should now be working on both the black skin and white skin!

Let me know ASAP if you notice something is not working correctly. hopefully they will revert back to the old skin.

make sure you're running Forum Buddy 1.4.1.3 (it should automatically update with a browser or computer restart)

For some reason it wasn't updating via browser or computer restart but I just deleted it and reinstalled and its working just fine.

Anytime someone mentions the word "Deathcore" it alerts me.


Really annoying since it's a genre of music and they're are multiple threads related to it.

That's not what I mean, it's like the word Apple.


Every time someone says Apple it would notify me, except the word is Deathcore.

I know, that's the point of the extension. it notifies you whenever your username is mentioned on the forum - it's not only for quotes.

What is Forum Buddy?
The biggest complaint I constantly hear about the bodybuilding forums is that you have no form of notification when someone quotes one of your posts. For the past few weeks I have been working on a Google Chrome browser extension called Forum Buddy to address this problem. Forum Buddy is a Google Chrome browser extension that provides a twitter-like newsfeed in your browser for when people mention your username or quote one of your posts anywhere on these forums.

Thanks for updating it since the new BB.com update. The extension didn't automatically update to the .3 , so I just deleted and redownloaded and it works
