Yes, they fit nice and snug. Only thing I didn't like was the finish on them is flat and the finish on the rack is glossy.

    Looks great Urban.

I really like the pull up bar upgrade. Wish I had enough height in my garage to add something like that

Well there is good news for you then, they will do custom height for $50 more on your order! So I measured my ideal pullup height and had them take a few inches off the rack. The other cool thing is that the pro-style comes with hole pre-drilled, so I can add eye-bolts for additional handle attachments and ab straps. Didn't get a chance to train with it yet, after I fixed the j-hooks I installed better track lighting in my gym and got rid of the ceiling fans. Looking forward to my bench session today

I'll have to figure something out soon, the inside of my standard j-hooks have some metal shavings and it's already putting small scratches on the rack. Might make a run for some UHMW tape today to fix that as well, almost ordered REP's sandwich j-cups that are in stock but I'm not sure how I feel about the stainless logo plate on the sides. Would rather just have a straight black finish.

Mine is a full rack and already cut down to 87" and the pull up bars are mounted upside down so I can clear some space on pull ups. Super low garage ceiling.

That's about my total height, I had them cut it down to 84" and then the Pro-Style adds the additional 4" in height. Was worried about cutting it down so much but it worked perfectly, my platform is 2" thick and I have 96" ceilings, so that gives me plenty of head room at the top.

Thanks man! Enjoying the new rack so far, but I'm definitely a little disappointed with Legend's lack of regard for UHMW protection. Didn't think it would be this bad, but with every twist of the safeties and j-hooks it's taking the paint right off. Other than that it's a rock solid rack, just can't believe with the cost of this thing they couldn't swing a $15 roll of protective tape. Hate to say it, but at this point Titan's roller J-cups are looking like a huge upgrade over Legend's beefy hooks.

urbanlifter, did you ever figure out how to attach the monolift? I've never seen a pair of them from any manufacturer in person, although I thought they only required front/back holes, not 4 way, for mounting?

Placing an order for a 3121 power rack tomorrow in light blue with ebony chrome crossmembers and beefy spotter arms. Amped!

Decided to sell them, I'll just buy Rogue's Monster Adjustable when they are back in stock. The fix I would have put on them would have looked ghetto on such a nice rack, I'd rather just get ones that work perfectly without needing modification. Was kinda hoping REP would chime in with a hint to what their future mono's might look like, to see if they are any better than the hockey stick design.

I just lined the contact areas of the j cups with thin UHMW. But in shipping they had the beefy spotters set up high on the rack and it was scratched up. Definitely something lacking by Legend but easily taken care of.

Absolutely, I thought I could maybe use them gently for a little while until I could put a set of mono's on there, but it's too late now. I'm okay with it though, the scratches on the gray paint are relatively hard to find unless you are looking for them and I'm SUPER happy with the stability of the rack. Rigid frame and I just bolted it down to my platform, looks incredibly sexy! The Pro-Style cross-member I sorta have mixed feelings about though, the grip is pretty much a fat grip and I would have wanted a regular grip on the front bar. But now that I have installed eye-bolts I like having an easy connection point for my ab-straps, and I think it gives the rack that 'Wow' factor so it's been a tradeoff. Also the pull-up bar on the Pro-Style is welded on crooked, so I look at it every time I bench press which has been a tad annoying.

The only other two gripes I have with the rack is related to the weight horns. Feel like it isn't going to take long before the chromed horns scratch off with my REP plates (urethane would have been better), and the cheap end caps/stickers are popping off as well. Not big issues, but they could have done MUCH better there for the cost of the rack. Pendlay had them beat hands down on the little attention to details, sad they went out of business because the racks were essentially the same price brand new.

I have the 45s on the 35 post. I’m sure if you contact them they would send touch up paint, replacement stickers, and a new cross member if it is crooked. Enjoy.

Functionality wise it's level, but one handle is 1/2" closer to the cross-member than the other so it's just an eye sore when looking up at it. Not worth waiting 8-9 weeks for a replacement, but interesting to see that even a 'Made in USA' company like Legend has QC issues. People were returning REP's adjustable bench because the lower handle was off about the same, but I'm not going to be too picky because my equipment will get used and scratched up anyway. Can't be showroom pretty forever

Granted I am OCD about that stuff but that would really bug me, especially for what you paid for a premium rack like that. Paint coming off is one thing but things not being square/level should be fixed.

I'm trying not to overthink it too much, Mono's will be here in a couple days and I know first hand how a few little creature comforts can vastly change customer satisfaction. But I'd be lying if I didn't say that it's feeling like a slight downgrade compared to my Pendlay rack. Not quite what I intended when I decided to sell while the market was good, but it was my decision and I have no doubt the rack will serve me well. I'm by no means trying to bash Legend for their quality because it's a rock solid rack, the welds all look INCREDIBLY well done and the spotters/safeties are BEAST! Just trying to shoot people straight because fancy pictures often hide the smaller details / imperfections, people need to see some of this stuff first hand to taper expectations. Here are a few nitpicky things I've noticed, nothing major but it's the 'Equipment Forum' so......

Upright scratches, paint must have been bumped during production (not my doing).

Have to pop these back in after every use, might take them off soon.

    This nice shipping.....

Resulted in rough areas in the paint and noticeable 'light' lines.

That's disappointing. I wasn't thrilled when I got my Dynamic Fitness half rack a few years back and found that a few components were actually made in China after advertising that's it's a USA made rack, but every piece I received was in perfect condition, including the few pieces made overseas. It's a bolt together and not welded, but I've never seen equipment so carefully packaged outside of two items I received from Mech. The uprights were in a large box and kept away from each other in cardboard partitions. I think the only pieces that actual came in contact with each other were the urethane weight posts, and that stuff is pretty much bulletproof. I've had it over 3 years now and I don't think there's a single thing I can complain about with regards to quality of the rack or the way they shipped it.

Damn Urban, I think you've been unlucky, I've had 2 Legend racks and 2 Legend benches, Pro and Performance lines, I don't recall having a single issue and my equipment crossed the Atlantic.

Yep, especially after seeing the pictures. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask Legend to make it right in some way.

A quick hidden fix on the weight peg endcaps would be to wrap some tape around the inside end and push them back in.

You are probably right, might have just been unlucky with the cosmetic blemishes. The used (but new) Legend 3103 bench I had before was perfection, don't think I found a single flaw on the paint and it even sat in someone's garage for 6 months before I got to it LOL. My wife saw I was a little bummed looking at some of these things and provided comfort, she said "You know you're gonna put scratches on that anyway, you didn't buy it for it to sit there and look pretty" haha. Outside of the cosmetic stuff the custom color, height, and platform I made for it will be ideal for my training needs. Toyed around with making a cable pulley system for it the other day, if it works out well I might upgrade my belt squat to an Edge Deluxe or Rogue Rhino with profits from the Body-Solid leverage gym and Titan Belt squat. Take the gym to the next level, brand name wise at least....bwhaha

I had the same light spots on the bottom but over time it became less noticeable to the point where you can barely see it now (not sure if the rest is fading or what.

If you decide to add a cable set up later on, I have a 210lb stack complete with top plate and pin if you would be interested.

Thanks IGP, I was just thinking a simple Spud pulley type system for tricep work and maybe light pulldowns, to see if I could live without the Body-Solid. Deadlifting, pull-ups, and bent over rows have been the majority of my back day so I'm thinking it might work out and create ALOT of space in the gym.

That's not acceptable for the price. I got a Dynamic Fitness rack for less money and everything was in perfect condition. The packaging was also much better.

You are not overthinking this. Not acceptable. And before everyone gets all riled up, when you buy a new rack you expect new condition. The circles are acceptable since they don’t add uhmw to the surfaces but you can do add that yourself. The scratches pre-shipping, poorly finished beefy j hooks, crooked pull up bar are not what I have seen from my and others legend gear. I would contact them, and honestly they should send you a new rack.

Agreed, or at the very least a partial refund. Those things are pricy.

Also, the sales and marketing folks need to put the screws on the production guys. Especially since my order for a 3121 power rack just went into the cue! lol

I'd take the rack apart to show pictures of the uprights where the top cross-members join together but I fear there would be outrage LOL. Thankfully that's covered up by the Pro-Style bar, but I was surprised that they left sections around the holes completely unfinished and bare steel. Appreciate the assurance that I'm not overthinking things, I hesitated to even post the up-close stuff cause it's a beast of a rack and I'm not unhappy with it overall. Still a big fan of Legend's equipment, but I'm glad I decided to hold off on the 3103 bench for now

Reason #1590 why you never throw anything away! Compliments of Legend, bolted the support bars they used to hold the rack together during shipping and made a straight bar cable attachment for the pulley system I made. Couple that with some grip I took off a pulldown bar and it's great for triceps and cable pullovers. Consolation prize for some of the small issues I guess
