Looks nice, and I like the color scheme. I'm interested in hearing how you like the pulldown/row combo. A cable machine is about the only thing I miss since I built a home gym (and I have neither the room nor ceiling height to make one work). My college gym had five separate selectorized cable machines (two pulldowns, one low row, a crossover, something that resembled a functional trainer chopped in half). Each one had a completely different feel to it, with the one on the Universal all-in-one monstrosity being the worst.
Are you happy with the color choices now that you see them in person?()---() York Barbell Club #49 ()---() ──<//>─<\\>── BWTG Cluster #11 ──<//>─<\\>──

Got heeeeeem!
It's like buttah!
Yes, but I asked for and received several fabric swatches before deciding on fabric colors.
Thank you, brother.
Having over 2500 pounds of plates was one reason. Not wanting to pay shipping for 200-300 pounds of selectorized weight was another.
I'm doing legs tomorrow. I'll let you know.
YOLO.
What does not kill me, makes me stronger.
It is a squat bench and the color is mandarin orange, same as my three-way bench.
Buttah, I tell you. Buttah.

I'm really looking forward to a review of that lat pull down / seated row.
It looks like you could easily build a platform & use it as a belt squat machine as well.
Also, I want that leg extension. No, I NEED IT!
Awesome so far. Part III should be epic!Crews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59

Did extensions and curls this morning. Very smooth. Really like the pillow block bearings on this machine. Very smooth. The lack of adjustment for the pads is no issue at all either. And last, but not least, the machine is very, very solid.

I just posted a review of my only piece of Legend Equipment - the Multi Press 963. It's not as sexy as the equipment already posted in this thread, but it's a nice piece.

Atty, this leg curl leg ext is awesome. After a few workouts how do you like it? I have a bodysolid glce365, cheap, light and not commercial built. The legend seems a lot better. But with plate loaded even with the Legend, on leg curls, you loose tension at the top of the range of motion. How does it feels on leg curls?

I like the machine a lot. You've identified the problem with this design, which is that the resistance is uneven throughout range of motion. The solution is to go with something with a cam that maintains even resistance, but I don't have the room or the budget for something like that. Still, I get a good workout on the machine and the falloff on resistance doesn't bother me much.
I too had the GLCE365 and before that, the GCEC340. I liked the 365 for what it was, a good and inexpensive curl/extension combo. It was light and had a lot of play, but got the job done. In the end, I didn't like the movement when operating the machine. No amount of bolt-tightening could address it. The Legend is sweet and with two pillow blocks, the movement is very smooth. You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

congrats on the great unit! There was a legend phase 1, phase 2, will there be a phase 3? You seem to be in love with legend quality and greatness. I understand this, i own a few Atlantis pieces and i have to hold myself back so i dont change all my equipment by Atlantis equipment. When you have some top end commercial pieces (Legend, Atlantis, Hammer strength...), you really see the difference between residential units and commercial ones.
I would really like to own a Legend leg curl leg extension someday to replace my Bodysolid units. But there is also a selectorized Atlantis leg extension prone leg curl on my radar... 4200$.... I have to save a lot of money before i can own one like this.[]---[] Ivanko Barbell Crew #54 []---[]
