heres a simple one:
jews are being described as INFERIOR the arabs, (also in some verses in the quran) yet have proven to be SUPERIOR by almost everything they do, they do better than the arabs.
yeah i would be mad too if i were a arab.

I am sorry to break to the news to all my Palestinian supporters in this thread, but last night was a really really really bad night for you. Trump will likely be the most pro-israel candidate this country has seen.
Even if you ignore the fact that his son-in-law, who was very influential in his campaign, is an orthodox Jew and an avid zionist (it's great for that not be a bad word anymore), but David Friedman, a person I know personally, was his "Israel adviser" and is about as pro-israel as you can get.
Contrast that with Hillary Clinton and her closest confidant Huma Abedin who was not the greatest fan of Israel.
Good luck with BDS the next 4 years...Last edited by primetime32; 11-09-2016 at 09:40 AM.

Curious... Personal politics aside, why do you all, who recently posted, have so much desire and want for a continued financial and military support of Jewish-Israeli -> US relations?
Replies with well thought out logic/rational always appreciated.

We have a common enemy, and a mutually beneficial relationship.
Israel can always use US military assistance, and in return, develops novel methods and tools for fighting in the types of environments where the US military sees itself operating in the future. The IDF revolutionized urban warfare in the 80s and 90s. These days, the US is the best urban force on the face of the earth, and a large part of that is due to collaborative work with Israel. It's not just about asymmetrical warfare either - most of Israel's national enemies are using Russian and Chinese "near-peer" weapon systems. In these cases, the US gets to test how well our platforms (airplanes especially) work against our enemies' platforms.
Israel is a pioneer in the areas of nanotech, medicine, sensors, etc. They conducted much of the early work on UAV technology, anti-rocket and anti-mortar systems for both fixed positions (MTHEL was the start but Iron Dome is the new one) and mobile vehicles (such as the Trophy system). A strong US-Israel partnership is good for both nations.
And a little bit of realpolitik here - as an American, I recognize that if we don't maintain good relationships with Israel, some other world power will probably step in to exploit that potential relationship. This account was created for the purpose of roleplaying and satire. ongoing american support is best for the Palestinians if you think about it. Their leaders have turned the cause into an ongoing victimhood industry whereby there is nothing to gain in peace. The lefties and Pakistani supporters who hate Jews have convinced the Pals that they're doing the right thing, they're using them to kill Jews for their own pleasure literally. The whole thing is sick. Meanwhile the sheer weight of numbers pushing the propaganda has encouraged world leaders to assist in the complicity. Trust me, the only friend the Palestinians have is Israel, and with that comes America and with that comes prosperity. Make the change and be brave. Amen.

And your response to people like bennet??
http://www.jpost.com/US-Elections/Do...lection-472088
Hopefully Trump will actually stay neutral and facilitate the peace process like he said he would do earlier. If he blindly caters to the right wing in israel things will escalate very very badly in the region.Last edited by AA43560; 11-09-2016 at 05:26 PM.

Lmao, good luck with that. The Palestinians had 8 years of Obama to work out a deal and foolishly held on to demands that they never were going to get. Now you got yourself a president that will be far more favorable to Israel.
You suggest things will get worse. Israel doesn't care. Things will get worse in Syria? Can it? What will get worse?
Whatever violence the Palestinians hurl at israel they will get much worse in response. That's the history and the reality
Throughout history people that are weaker negotiate accordingly. Not the Palestinians.
They continue to act like they are a powerful force. They're not. If roles were reversed and the Palestinians were the ones in power would they cede to the unrealistic demands of the Jewish people in the region? Zero chance. But whatever, you'll never see the reality of the situation.
Good luck. I truly want a peace but I don't see the Palestinians accepting reasonable terms.“Israel in the Middle East is fighting on behalf of the free world,” declared Mosab Hassan Yousef, the outspoken son of Hamas leader Hassan Yousef.

You think the rockets are bad?
What about when you have bus bombings everyday? The israeli public has its tipping point too. You really wanna see that **** happen again?
Palestinians arnt going anywhere. You think you can just sweep the issue under the rug and plug your ears?
Or how about they actually get to the negotiating table so the palestinians have something to live for instead of wanting to go on suicide operations.Best lifts (Don't lift for strength anymore. No more deadlifts or squats)

The Palestinians created people like Bennett, the Israelis will decide on whether to keep him, not me. Settlements being built on land already divided by Oslo accords for future peace framework don't bother me one bit, they built settlements in Gaza, and they left. Settlements are a total red herring and account for 1% of the West Bank, no biggie, something western leftists don't seem to get one bit.

While I like that Israel will likely receive greater support I hope he stays out of it. I am hesitant to believe that simply adding world leaders to Netanyahu's side will enable a 2 state solution to form. Probably need some regional leadership changes to get some new heads at the negotiating table that have more realistic time tables and expectations.

Not ignoring the rest of what you said, but you bring up an interesting point on international relations and the role in conflict areas that I want to focus on. Looking at Palestine/israel, from the outside, everyone "wants" to help while also hoping to appease their own agenda. For example, John Kerry comes in representing America's interests while pushing for a resolution, and has all the answers right? The case may be that what outside interventionists are pushing would be the right path, but the reality I see is the only way for both sides to "get what they want" is by coming to a solution from within their own in-group.
The track record for doing so hasn't exactly shown the progress by either models...*Ass Eaters Anonymous*

So it's sounding like Bob Corker, Newt and Bolton are the 3 top candidates to be secretary of state. You couldn't pick 3 more pro-israel candidates.

I voted for Obama...twice, on the hopes that a President that didn't favor Israel blindly would be the right President to broker a peace. Eight years flew by and nothing got accomplished. If we aren't going to have a peace, then I prefer a President that will protect Israel in the UN and around the world.
