Kind of was under the impression that Misc section was enter at your own risk so to speak with less modding than other sections. I don't think its so out of control that we need more modding, just my opinion.

I got banned a month ago for an offensive comment with no idea what I said. Previous post history provided me with nothing. I just worked off the assumption that some mod disagreed with what I said, given that emailing mods has been next to useless in the past. Hey, your forum, your rules, but I still have no idea what I said that was so wrong, and as such, it's tough to avoid similar.
If you want to have "more stringent rules", fine. Not like this place hasn't needed it. But to do so effectively, you either need to give people actual reasons when they get banned, rather than vague "you have been naughty" so they know what they did, hence learning from their mistakes, or clarify the rules a lot. General bashing, for instance. What is that? Is this post general bashing? Or is it questioning mod decisions? Or is it simply seeking clarification?
