    "good guy" gym

I have to have some surgery next month and will be out of the gym for a month and a half.

I checked and my gym will "freeze" my annual membership while I am out so I don't lose any of my paid for time.

Having a locally owned gym is the best IMO.

I have "right middle lobe syndrome" a sort of catch all term for something funky going on in the middle lobe of my right lung.

I have to have the middle lobe removed. It has a big calcified lesion that has the airway into that lobe almost completely blocked.

It has been causing me issues for years but in the last couple years the symptoms have been more severe.

Hope all goes well for you Chodan!

My gym was able to freeze my account for medical reasons too. That was really appreciated by me.

It will be a pain (literally) for a while but it will pass.
I will be able to train with a lot more intensity I think after I get fixed up

That is a very good gym. You are lucky to belong to such a place.

Best of luck with the surgery and your recovery. And, as you said, with this fixed you may be able to reach new levels of training intensity once you are back in the gym. Way to stay positive.

Good luck, bud. Keep us informed of how you're doing.

    Understood.

Getting your medical issue squared-away is job one. The gym will still be there when your doc gives you the green light to return.

I hope your surgery goes well, and you have a quick recovery!

My gym was really good about freezing my account for three weeks when I went out of town to help my mom recover from heart surgery. I really appreciated that!
