And to make things more ridiculous is that fact that just about everyone is going off pictures and live feeds (me included) which are not even close to what the judges or the audience sees. People who haven't competed or haven't been in the audience or the judges seat really can't understand how much different things look. Seriously, it can be night and day looking at someone in 3D 10 feet away and looking at them on a flat computer screen from a different angle.

Kai's back and traps improved dramatically.
I feel he's beating Phil in both back shots. Especially from the waist down, he's dominating.
Phil's legs from the front look better, but Kai has him from the side and rear.
Side Chest dominated by Kai.
MM still Phil's.
Wolf's conditioning is great. He's a little bit flat though.
The Blade looks fantastic as usual. Hopefully a top 5 finish.
I had a feeling Ramy would be typical Ramy, and he was. Sheer size won't get him placings.
Branch's conditioning consistently on point. Impressive. Praise the lord!
I have Kai in front slightly. Still pretty close to call, let's see what tomorrow brings.

What I saw
- Phil looked the usual (maybe a hair under previous yrs conditioning wise)
- Kais gut/waist shrunk and conditioning looks as good as he's been before
- wolf looked as good as his best and really got shafted with the first call out
- everyone else pretty much looked how you'd expect
& bonac got boned harder than anybody at the show

after watching comparisons :
Phils midsection looks worse, bigger and less detailed. but everything else looks exactly the same as previous years
Kai looks smaller and more conditioned = a slightly better kai
will this be enough to beat phil ? no
i would give phil the win without much thought, at best kai is even with phil and even then phil would win because he is mr O.
rhoden looks really good, maybe third place or even second. wolf looks ok, nothing special.
Dex, branch looking amazing for their age. JJ's traps are stupid, like tumors growing on his shoulders.
roelly somehow got pregnant over the course of a few months :/

My thoughts exactly, except for Branch looking kinda good considering his previous shows.
Phil and Kai are looking very similar to 2013 O but Phil's midsection looks a little bloated when relaxed, maybe he can fix it by finals. As for IFBB politics - if 2012 Kai wasn't enough to beat Phil than 2014 Kai isn't either.
Wolf should be third, Rhoden 4th, Dexter 5th.

The only guy who was looking average was Phil. Kai just dominate him in every aspect. Condition, Size, Width. If they gift Phil the trophy, for me this is the last Olympia. Who watched stream live knowsthat was pretty obvious who the winner is.
It wasnt even close in matter of facts, Dennis was better then him, and in the final comparison Rhoden look better then Phil. Kai is just better then Phil in every aspect.

There's a huge ass TV screen in the arena (multi ones, in fact). Kai's upper back looked uncharacteristically soft. Phil's was harder. Bothe looked softer than what they should..
Kai's gut was hanging out again at times, especially in the side an shot he likes to hit. Both his and Phil's abs weren't their best. I have Phil ahead of Kai but not by miles like he was last year.
Wolf impressed me most in terms of overall look. Rhode looked great, too with his tiny waist. Again, Dexter stood out to me. He's the ONLY person that nailed his conditioning.
Oh, and I thought Victor looked pretty good!

I think Kai's back is just about always soft. Not saying he isn't lean or detailed or that he looks bad, but simply he looks like there's an ever present softness to him in general. Phil on the other hand is nearly always harder, even if he's fading. Dem genetic uniqueness.

Yup. Lol @ ppl saying Kai was better in every aspect. The judges might give Kai 2nd, but I got Wolf ahead of him. Kai definitely brought his traps up this year though. That was immediately obvious when he came out. Again though, Kai's upper back, while thick, looked soft, which is really unusual for him. Although he looked a bit tighter overall than last year, still looks too soft for this show.

if phil wins it wont be because he was best on stage at the pre-judging ....tomorrow is another day ...or today or whatever the time is
apparently the ifbb is infallible and impervious to outside influences
must be great to have such trust and faith
and yet in the bdb comparisons its good night philomena
phil's abdominals looked uncharacteristically distended
his obliques were spilling over his trunks
not to mention wateryEveryday is a lesson. Listen.

Kai did to me. Maybe it was just the angle I was sitting at. That's totally possible. I just didn't notice really sharp glutes on him. And I know Kai's back double biceps has looked much harder than this in the past. 2012 was a great example. I felt Kai brought a sharper back double biceps than Phil that year. This time, I noticed a soft upper back right away.
Kai fans are seeing what they wanna see. I can say I was truly anxious when Bob said Kai was coming out. I thought he was gonna shock everyone. I thought he was gonna really push Phil this time. Neither of those things happened.
For ppl making the excuse that Kai just always looks kinda soft no matter what - the 2009 Arnold Classic and the 2012 Olympia disprove that. Come on guys, it wasn't that long ago that Kai has been shredded.
