I found you - don't know how I missed the new journal. So, let me get this straight - you were supposed to meet someone is Vegas and that person never showed???? And has not tried to contact you? So you were on vacation in Vegas by yourself??? That is totally ****ty!
We are leaving for Disney on the 4th - Sat morning. I am driving to Portland then flying from there. You are going to be there on the 7th? Please tell me you are not going alone this time? Where are you staying?

It's nice to be hitting them again, even if I did restart at the bar lol...
I didn't really do anything... apparently I have very loose shoulder ligaments, and doing proper bench presses makes my shoulder slightly dislocate, causing much discomfort and occasionally pain for days. My physiotherapist says I seem to be full of loosey-goosey joints lol

You got it right - up to the day before, everything was still a go. Then they disappeared off the face of the planet and didn't contact me whatsoever.
I'm flying out of Halifax on the 7th, and staying until early on the 13th! On a disney resort (I think) with a friend from Halifax, so they're not gonna ditch me... we have a verrryyy busy park itinerary planned, plus a few of my favorite bands are playing a show together TWO nights, and there's the PSP Paintball World Cup that I'm going to very much enjoy attending again We're thinking of taking a trip out to Tampa to hit up Busch Gardens as well!

So, Florida was good... but my phone got MESSED UP REAL BAD. REAL REAL BAD. Im getting a new one tomorrow I think! Right now it's barely useable and quite psychedelic, changing colors and doing funky patterns and light effects constantly.... yyeeeaaaa....

My nice phone got stolen a couple years ago, so I've been using cheaper pay-as-you-go androids to fill the void since... this one I've only had for like 3 months or so! I'm still getting a relatively cheap phone... but it's free to me this time, woo! Looks like i'll be getting the HTC Desire.

Wednesday, October 15th
Weigh-In: 165lbs
Damage from vacation is minimal... but I'm definitely feeling chunky and weighed down! It's time to start shreddin..!
I'm joining the BSN Shred vs Bulk contest in hopes of actually making progress this time
Last night was my last turf session, we mostly did cardio type things. I think I convinced a few of the girls to move to the indoor track with me, but there's also something else that the teams working on. If the team plan comes through then that will help tremendously.
But... I'm running out of time!
Next surgeon appointment is October 24th.
HOPEFULLY I'll have my surgery booked for shortly after that, but with the way the system works here chances are I'll still have to wait many months, and end up missing all next football season and any chance at trying to make the national team for the next women's football world championship.
Sucks to be stressed by things that are out of my control
My knee is in very bad shape as well... Last night, I did most of the turf sesh with my brace on, and I took it off to do a few of our running repeats... afterwards I picked up the football and tried to launch it across the field... knee instantly seperated. I just twisted my body with it and went to the ground. No other damage done, just extremely unstable and uncomfortable. I felt it pulling apart with the brace on too when I was doing the runs. When I was in Florida, a wave from the ocean made it seperate. Couldn't play in the waves BOOOO.
Not much else to update right now... PLanning to get back to the workout routine soon, start doing regular cardio, and attempt to diet properly again. Birthday celebrations will be this weekend so... that'll be a write off hahaBluePrint Believer!

Yesterday was my birthday!
I spent the day getting xrays on my knee for the surgeon, getting my drivers license renewed, and buying fat pants. Cause I officially don't fit into any of mine anymore!! And I'm STILL sick.
So.. I was going to join the new challenge here on bodybuilding.com, but i totally missed the photo deadline so I'm just gonna try to get into a groove on my own (as I should!).
I have no clue if I'll continue the 5x5 right now, because my football team signed up for this team conditioning training program thats going to be twice a week. I'm not sure how intense it's going to be... so I'll have to plan my lifting accordingly. I think the 5x5 should be alright to run at the same time... but I may go training-ADD and switch it up.
Getting my diet back in order is #1 priority though... I've been sooooooooo bad. SO BAD.
Today is... day 1.... after my chinese food leftovers. And the 5 blocks of fancy cheeses sitting in my fridge.BluePrint Believer!

If I were you (in regards to training) I'd just get to the gym when I could and do what I could. For now anyway until you get into the groove with your new football training schedule. Even getting there twice a week to lift with your activity level would be good Two full body workouts!

I know how you feel Being sick depresses me so bad, lol! I just want to crawl in bed and stay there. Resting up while you're sick though is good, that's what your body needs in order to get better I think it's smarter to rest and miss the half-assed workout than to push through, make it worse, and not get an intense workout in anyway.

A few updates:
Saw my knee surgeon today... No surgery date booked yet, I'm waiting for a phone call from her secretary. I am on a cancel list so theyre going to get me in as soon as they can. The surgeon and her assistant both tested my ACL and cringed at how loose it was. And noted that my left quad is extremely small/weak and I should work on strengthening it as best I can before the surgery.
Football training tonight! First session was Monday, I missed it since it was on my birthday. So tonight is the second session for the group, but first for me! It's a sport/team/group training facility with a bunch of power racks and fancy things for training, and a bit of open "field" in the middle to do other things. I'm looking forward to it!BluePrint Believer!

Alright... so backtrack a week:
Monday was football group training.
Friday the group training was cancelled and I didn't know until a few hours before I was gonna go... so that saved me some time.
I spent the weekend away so I didn't get my regular Saturday workout in, and I slacked off all last week (so busy).
So.. back to this week.
THE PLAN
Monday - Football Group Training
Tuesday - Lifting?
Wednesday - CARDIO.
Thursday - Lifting?
Friday - Football Group Training
Saturday - LIFTING.
Sunday - Cardio.
I gotta fit meal prep into Monday somehow.
