You need to reevaluate the importance of bodybuilding if you can't enjoy a vacation in a foreign country. You're 17 and going to a foreign country; these opportunities are meant for you to take in culture and history, not squandered counting the macros of your can of tuna.

Agreed. I would be trying as many different foods as possible- pasta, pizza, sea food, gelato... the list goes on and on; enjoy the trip man you're only young once and these opportunities do not come along often.
Think about it, in 5 years what will you remember more, gaining 1 pound but having the time of your life... or all the missed chances you had while visiting another country?
Obvious answer IMO.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Who goes to Italy/Italie/Italia () and doesn't consume the wonderful food that everyone hears about constantly? My wife lived there for almost half a year while doing residency, and she said the food is like no other.
Learning something new here every single day... and I'm still not sure if I understand : /

Honestly I've been traveling around Europe for the past two months and the food I had in Italia wasn't as impressive as people make it out to be, this is strictly my opinion granted, their sauces are fantastic but aside from that it's nothing to right home about but id like to point out that's my opinion but as far as money goes Europe is expensive due to exchange rates if you are from the US so if you don't grocery shop everything will be expensive.
I lifted heavy once.
It was cool.
