wtf I warmed up.. first set of 315 on the first rep halfway up I felt a pop (it was like a pulling sensation like two things splitting almost) in my lower back. The pop didn't hurt, but it made me drop the bar mid lift. I noticed something felt off and immediately started putting the weights up. Halfway through putting them up I couldnt even bend all the way down to do it.
Got them put up, got in my car, and did 70mph home. It hurt like a motherf! at this point
Now I've drank some whiskey and popped advil, but this sht still hurts bad. I can bend over but I have to do it slow and I still feel pain. I'm just sitting and icing it
will I be ok??

And deadlifts strike again, fuark OP, same chit happend to me a year and a half back, but i was doing bent rows (fukcing lol) took a few days but i was able to move around again pretty comfortably and here I am now squatting 405 again pain free, I don't deadlift often but I can still do it, lighter weights though with flawless form. Just make sure you baby it until the majority of the pain has subsided, and maybe start back with some bodyweight hyperextension to rebuild lower back integrity/strength. Best of luck OP!

Congrats, enjoy the sciatica. Ice your lower back and don't exercise for a couple days. I pulled my back in January and took me well over two weeks to recover. Do a ton of stretching, back and abdominal strengthening exercises (google for sciatica). Do those almost daily. Foam roll etc

this is exactly what happened to me. felt a pop midlift and dropped. thought i was fine. bent over to take weights off and couldnt. most painful car ride back home.
ibuprofen, fish oil, lots of cals, alternate icing/heating.
took 3 months till i could go back to lifting. lots of stretching/foam rolling. sciatica sucked too

I know your pain mane.
I currently can't deadlift due to lower back injury. Went to doctor and it's strained muscles in lower back. It's from previous work, but when I tried to deadlift once (it was only 135 and I could easily get 280 for reps before) I felt a pop near my tailbone and couldn't even pick the weight up.
Currently in the process of minor physiotherapy.
The LAST THING you want to do is fuark with it. If you don't have insurance, see if there's some place around where you live that might do it free of charge/reduced cost.
What does your back feel like now? If you start having fever, chills, headaches or numbness in any extremity go to the emergency right away (srs).Try Hard
